  • Cori was a great host and very accommodating! She had all of the rooms occupied with guests and had snacks and breakfast for everyone. I felt right at home and enjoyed playing with her rambunctious little dog, Gretta! I would certainly return if I ever need a place to stay in Louisville.

  • Staying with Cori, Joe & Greta was just the medicine I needed after a long day's drive. The room is spacious and comfortable, and their home is quiet, attractive and welcoming. I very much enjoyed sharing a glass of wine and interesting conversation with Cori & Joe, and Greta was fun to play with. Then a dip into the hot tub and off to sleep in the comfy bed. A yummy Sunday breakfast had me on the road a very happy traveler!

Look no further for wonderful accommodations and terrific hosts! 5 stars and 2 thumbs up!

Looking forward to seeing them again.

  • Peaceful Oasis for One is exactly what this is. The hosts are wonderful people and I thoroughly enjoyed meeting them! My first night we stayed up late talking like old friends even though we were complete strangers to each other. The second night I needed some alone time to make some phone calls and catch up on some reading. If you need some peace and privacy, you'll have it here. If you want fun conversation with some very friendly and interesting folks, you can have that here too. And we can't forget Greta, the sweet host dog, she was the icing on the cake for me!

  • Perfect and cozy! Thank you Cori for the hospitality.

  • Our stay at Cori's was perfect! Everything was so proffessional, nice, beautiful, super clean, neat, and she is a wonderful person, very polite, and understanding our need for rest after a long drive. She was flexible with us and we really had a wonderful experience with her. We highly recomend her in every way, and absolutely we would like to stay with her again.

  • Cori and Greta were fabulous hostesses. From the moment I arrived to the moment I left, I felt at home. Cori helped me with my bags, made me at home in her kitchen so I could make a meal, and sat down for some easy (email hidden)te into the night. The room was comfortable and spacious, everything was clean, and the shower had power washer water pressure! I am a big fan of sweet pups, so I was in love when she wanted to be held and loved.

I recommend Cori's and Greta's hospitality to anyone looking for a safe space to land.

  • Cori was an amazing host, edging on professional if I didn't know any better. The entire house was immaculate and Greta was a very friendly dachshund. Breakfast was always lovely. The only regret I have is not being able to see Fred the fish be fed.

  • YOU should be so lucky to be hosted by the wonderfully hospitable Cori and share the fun company of hubby Joe and the amusement of dog "daughter" Gretta! I couldn't have had a more 1st class first AirBnB experience, they definitely do set the bar for the AirBnB standard and Cori spares NO details.

I only decided last minute to rest in Louisville on my road trip to ATL and Cori responded immediately lucky for me. Their house is huge and they have accommodations to cater to all types of guest needs from a single man/woman, family, couple to wedding parties. Cori also has a catering business and I was greeted with a glass of Pinot Noir followed by homemade dinner (if you opt to dine in) and a hearty breakfast before I headed off on my continuing journey to Atlanta.

Their home is beautiful and well kept and a great rental for family weddings and reunions. Fully equipped with everything you could possibly need and more including air hockey table and a hot tub which I wish I had time to use.

This definitely is a "Peaceful Oasis" from the hustle n bustle of downtown Louisville especially when you have driven 7 hours like I did from Grand Rapids. The location is best suited for those with a car and looking for a private, relaxing getaway. Cori recommended a bunch of things to do which I drove by on my way to Atlanta (Bourbon Trail, Mammoth cave) and I convinced my fiance to fly to ATL so we can do them on my way back to Grand Rapids in December!

Thanks again for a wonderful stay Casa de la B!

Hi, I'm Cori Barimo, and welcome to our profile. My husband, Dr. Joe Barimo, and I moved to Louisville in August 2010 from Palm Beach Gardens, FL. When Joe & I are traveling, we rent out our entire home to groups looking for a great place to stay while in the area. When we are home, Joe & I open our place to travelers through Airbnb. I love to cook and bake, and have a small catering business. Joe is a Director at Spalding University and is building a new Doctorate of Education in Executive Leadership. We have our pup, Greta who is a service dog and works primarily in the nursing homes with demensia and behavioral therapy residents. Joe & I love hosting and meeting wonderful people through this site!
