*This is a 3 bedroom apartment, with 2 bedrooms for myself and my 2 kids, and 1 bedroom for you
*It has 2 bathrooms (I have my own in my bedroom & my 2 children share both mine and the main bathroom, thus leaving the main bathroom mostly free)
*There is a living room, dining room and a fully equipped kitchen
*It has a balcony
*We have two cute but very shy cats, they stays out of the way, so you may not see them until their dinner time :)

Your Bedroom
*Bedroom is approximately 12x10 ft
*Yours would be the bedroom on the opposite end of the apt for most privacy, please note that the apartment has all full rooms and is NOT a "railroad style"
*The room has windows, built in closet (includes hangers storage unit), side tables (long red desk has been removed), full length mirror, and a subway map on the wall for your convenience
*In the summer I install an air conditioner in your bedroom

*I share my Net flix account for free so you can watch movies on your computer or Ipad in your downtime
*I provide a comprehensive "HOUSE MANUAL" and a "GUIDEBOOK" that details where everything is in the apartment as well as the important and interesting locations in the neighborhood, (kindly go through those after booking with me to get the most out of your stay:)
*Guide books about NYC and The Zagat guide await you on your night table

Interaction with Guests

I am very helpful when asked to be and also friendly, but know when to step back and give space. Everyone is different, and some people want to just relax in their room, but some want to come out and have a glass of wine or tea and chat and I totally understand that. My children are curious about their world so they may ask about what country our guest is from, etc., but other than that and introducing themselves they are good at picking up social cues and engage in conversation when it's befitting :)

The Neighborhood

*Bushwick is a mixture of a working class neighborhood and an artistic community in New York City borough of Brooklyn. *Bushwick is surrounded by Williamsburg, Ridgewood and Bed Stuy
*Dozens of art studios and galleries are scattered throughout the neighborhood and continue on growing as "gentrification" undergoes in Bushwick and artists continue to move in from Williamsburg and Manhattan
*Traffic is pretty quite here compared to Manhattan, but it is still not the suburbs and people do like their music around here
*There is a convenience store, variety store, supermarket and a laundromat all within 1/2-2 blocks from me.
*There are 3 coffee shops with free WiFi within a 3 block radius from me
*Variety of dining options within walking distance (please see my full guide to restaurants, bars and etc.)
*There is free (no meters) street parking on my block and surrounding blocks

Getting Around

*3 1/2 blocks from the L train, off the Halsey stop or Wilson stop, equal distance. The L is NYC's MOST CONVENIENT TRAIN (SUBWAY)
*The L line goes east to west all through Manhattan and transfers you to just about any train
*Williamsburg is 10 minutes away by train and Manhattan is 20 minutes.
*The B20 bus stops on my block (it goes into Ridgewood in a few minutes as well as Bed Stuy)
*It is an average of a 20 MINUTE car/taxi ride from JFK
*The East River Ferry in Williamsburg is a gorgeous way to get around Manhattan and Brooklyn too.
*If you're driving in there is free (no meters) and safe street parking on my block and surrounding blocks

Other Things to Note

*Deposit fee will always be returned by Airbnb immediately after checkout. In two years I have been hosting through Airbnb, I have never asked for it and never had a guest who had issues with that
*Before making a reservation, kindly check your airbnb profile:
-Does it have a photo and a few verifications? I provided such and would appreciate the same.
*If you are arriving early to NYC and need a place to store your luggage before my check in time, consider Shwartz Travel Luggage Storage, they are very cheap and have convenient Manhattan locations, so you can explore Manhattan before checking in :)
*There are also several coffee shops within a few blocks from where you can access and WiFi and wait if necessary

******Due to my work schedule check-in time is at 5pm or later (and check-out time is 3:00pm or earlier)*******
