Lovely peaceful location, nice area for quiet walks and close to kilkee and doonbeg for access to the beach. We; three adults and two young children had a very enjoyable stay.
Such a lovely house, very warm, in a wonderful and quiet place! Tim was taking care of us every moment! The house has everything you could need and its place is gorgeous. Thank you again Tim!
We cannot say enough about our stay at Querrin Creek. Tim's beautiful cottage is more comfortable than the photos can show! It is a bright, clean, spot that is easy to get to. Tim is a host who reached out to us to find out what we might like to do while in Ireland, so he could make suggestions. This special space is a close drive to so many great sights as described in the booking. The tea and cookies that were waiting for us when we arrived were well received. Thanks so much... Book this place for an excellent holiday.
My girlfriend and I booked a 4 night stay with Tim in September/October 2014. The stay was amazing and Tim played a large part in making it so. Before we even booked Tim was able to answer all of our questions about the cottage promptly.
After we booked, Tim provided us with detailed instructions on how to get to the cottage along with things to do in the local area that we wouldn't have found otherwise. He was also able to provide invaluable help on how to use the open fire!
On getting to the cottage we found a fire already set up for us, some biscuits and a tea-set all ready to go from our long drive - a very nice touch!
Finally, the cottage. The living room/kitchen is lovely - you can see the sea from the living room windows. The fire is amazing and the sofas are great for settling down with a book and a glass of wine. The bed in the master bedroom is very very comfy - you might not want to get out of it! The bath in the master bathroom is nice and I don't think it's mentioned in the listing.
Would definitely recommend to anybody thinking about staying.
We absolutely loved staying in Tim's cottage. It was much larger than we needed but it was warm & welcoming. Words of wisdom...definitely grab some groceries or meals before you head back to the house for the evening because restaurants in the area close very early. The view is gorgeous and you can see the water from the bedrooms which is great to wake up to. Tim is incredibly helpful every step of the way and easy to get in touch with. If given the chance, we would definitely stay here again.
Absolutely lovely house in a very peaceful tranquil setting close to everything Loop Head and beyond has to offer. We stayed for 4 nights and travelled to Dingle for a day trip on the ferry from Clare to Kerry. We then also took in the Cliff Of Moher and all the great beaches and sights around.
Our host, Tim, provided excellent information by email before and also kept in touch to make sure we had all we needed. He was always available to point us to the best place for seafood etc.
The other guests were amazed with the accommodation and all the area had to offer, will definitely come here again. And if you have children, I think it would be even more ideal as it's safe and quiet.
Thanks for a lovely break Tim!
This is a lovely cottage in a delightful setting with everything you will need, really enjoyed our stay and even get the donkey.
