Private 1 bedroom designer apartment 5 minutes from Roppongi and Nogizaka station - double sized bed with linens and towels provided
Please have a look at our photos and our walking tour around our neighborhood - that'll give you the best sense of our place! We have multiple apartments in the same building so if this one is not available for the dates that you would like please feel free to check our other listings by clicking on our AirBNB ID.
The building itself is a dated Japanese apartment building built in 1971. Once you step inside this private apartment you’ll see a sharp contrast from your first impression outside. We just completed redesigning the interior of the apartments.
The apartment itself is a spacious thirty two square meter one bedroom apartment (a lot bigger than most of the tiny studios in Tokyo!) and gets plenty of natural sunlight. There is a traditional Japanese style bath and shower. Utilities and high speed internet with wifi are all included, as well as all the other amenities to make your stay comfortable.
Our apartment’s location is the ideal base for exploring Tokyo. Our property borders Hinokicho park in Roppongi Tokyo Midtown and we are only a one minute walk from the entrance. Roppongi Tokyo Midtown is home to the Ritz Carlton Hotel (that’s how great the location is!) and a plethora of chic eateries and upscale bars. Our apartment offers fantastic transportation access as well. We’re only a five minute walk to Roppongi Station and Nogizaka Station. But if you want to enjoy the urban landscape by foot, Omotesando (Tokyo’s fashion district), Harajuku (street and pop culture Japan), Roppongi (nightlife and entertainment) are all within easy walking distance. There’s a large supermarket located in the Tokyo Midtown development, as well as ATMs/banks, Starbucks, restaurants, and boutiques.
ART, FOOD, CULTURE:
The National Art Center which is a massive venue with changing art exhibitions is only an 8 minute walk away. They have exhibitions of local artists with many interesting and unique pieces from all over Japan. From the apartment you can also take a leisurely stroll past Nogizaka shrine and continue on through Aoyama Cemetary which has beautiful sakura trees that blossom every spring. The road takes you down Omotesando dori which has some of the most unique architecture in the world. Continuing down Omotesando dori you hit Harajuku which is the epicenter of Japanese pop and street culture.
For you epicureans wanting to experience Japanese cuisine, you can easily walk to some of the best ramen, sushi, udon, and teppanyaki restaurants in Japan from our apartment. Just let us know what you’re interested in and we can help you out with your itinerary. We’re locals and can help you get off the beaten track.

***The apartment and neighborhood is extremely safe at all hours. There are many families living in the neighborhood. We also have a 24 hour onsite building manager in case there are any emergencies or problems.
The restaurant, convenience store, bank, grocery store, coffee shops are only few blocks away from the building.
Coming from Narita Airport, you can take either the Airport Limousine Bus (3,000 yen) to the Ritz Carlton Hotel at Tokyo Midtown and walk five minutes to the apartment. Or you can hop on the Narita Express train to Tokyo Station and take the metro subway to Nogizaka station. We recommend the bus as it’s easier and the same price without the hassle of carrying your luggage through the subway.

We really enjoyed the neighbourhood. Oak was very punctual with their replies to all our questions and extremely helpful with any type of information needed while in Tokyo. There is a lot of construction on our road and the buildings just across the street - not sure when this will be finished? The apartment was very clean with comfortable beds. Enough space to move around in for our family of 3. The shower was great but the bathroom was wet all day after use even with the fan on and the door open. The apartment had everything we needed including towels and toiletries. Easy to walk to the metro and/or catch a taxi from the end of our street. We were disappointed with the high rate for storing our luggage ($15 for the day with no flexibility on whether you stored for an hour or the full day). We stomached the fee upon our early arrival but were a bit shocked when we wanted to grab a bite to eat at the end of our stay and were told it would also be $15 for a mere hour. As stated, there is zero flexibility when it comes to check-in or check-out.
Nearest stations are roppongi and nogizaka .
The Room very clean and comfortable .
Instructions were also very clear .
Apartment had everything we could need.
We love the (email hidden)ere are many great dining options in the neighborhood.we didnt get to meet the host, but we found their recommendations for restaurants on their website to be helpful.we stayed here for 3 nights,so it's convenient to have dinner or srink nearby before we head home.
The apartment may look old on the outside, but it's not the case with this (website hidden)'s cozy, the bunk beds are comfotable, and the towels and linens are clean.they provided everything you need, including ironing board and hair dryer.
There's a small garden near the apartment which is lovely.we were there during sakura week, and enjoyed the view walking to the subway station everyday.
The nearest stations are roppongi and nogizaka.we used roppongi station as there's convenient store as well as starbucks nearby.pocket wifi is helpful, but make sure you bring along a power bank,as ours gone flat within half a day.
Overall, a very pleasant stay, will certainly come back .
A great place to stay, the place itself is outfitted very well with a heater to keep warm at night. The rental bikes were great.

Konnichi wa! Hello from Tokyo!!! I love to share with you the beauty of contemporary Japanese culture. Having backpacked around the world I know first hand how it feels to be in a new country and to immerse oneself in a new culture. I'm inspired by those little details that we encounter everyday but often get overlooked in our busy lives in Tokyo from signboards to toy designs to building architecture. I would love to share with you our passion for art, Tokyo street culture, and local cuisine!
