The house is located in the bohemian neighborhood of Santa Teresa, near the downtown of Rio de Janeiro. This iconic neighborhood is one of the most visited for its restaurants and culture, as well as its nightlife and the spectacular views to the Guanabara Bay and the Sugar Loaf from the top of its steep cobbled streets.
In Santa Teresa you can visit the Parque das Ruinas, a museum and cultural center, and Chacara do Ceu Museum, home to the works of the great Brazilian and European masters. Within walking from Rio Panoramic you can reach the city center in a nice walk down the stairs of Selarón, taking you directly to the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Lapa Arches.
