Nice, quiet and clean house, close to Cambridge (around 35mn walk), but above all very friendly hosts !
Thank you Maggie (and also your husband!) for your time and the long chats we had.
I recommend this B&B
We (my daughter, her friend and I) had an absolute beautiful time @ Maggie's place. Maggie and Martin were so welcoming and friendly that it was just like being with family.
We all felt so welcome.
The room were nicely kept. The beds were the best ever. I've never slept so well before. The rooms had everything you needed and there were enough badrooms ( 2 for 4 guests) to foresee in everyones need. They had ensured that the staircase was foreseen with sensors so guidinglights went on automatically and the staircases were noiceless. All good things when you need to get up at night or come home late.
It is about a 20 minute walk to Cambridge taking to a love change of scenary. If you want to go bus it leaves every 15 minutes or so. Had we stayed there longer, we would have hired bikes at the station. That is very well arranged at a low cost. Just make you sure your departing time matches the opening hours of the place from where you hire your bikes.
Going from the station to Maggie's place or back and from Cambridge is about 10 ponds each way.
All the best and have fun,
We really enjoyed staying at Maggie's . She and Martin were fun and entertaining hosts, and took excellent care of us. They were always available and happy to help. The rooms were nice and comfortable. Although the house is somewhat outside of Cambridge City center, the bus went by frequently just at the corner, which was very convenient, and it was nice to be in a green area. Very convenient to Girton College!
Maggie is a nice and warm-hearted person. The English tea is professional!
It is a nice family, you can find them easily from city center, only 10minutes by bus. Deddings is white and clean，We passed a happy weekend there.

I've spent half of my life leaving in Rio de Janeiro the other half in London and Cambridge. I'm a linguist and work as an interpreter. I love traveling, meeting new people and new foods.
I enjoy bird watching, walks in nature reserves and visiting castles and ruins.
