Interaction with Guests
We both live in Europe and unfortunately don't meet most of our guests. But our managers will greet the guests upon arrival and will be more than happy to assist in anything they might need.
We offer dinner preparation and full assistance from our managers. At Villa Paille En Queue our guests can experience the unique Seychelllois hospitality!
Only 50 meters away is Anse Takamaka of Baie St Anne Praslin. From the villa, it is 3 to 5 minutes walk
Nearest town of Baie St Anne (B) is only 2.5 kilometers away and so 4 minutes by car or 30 minutes walk. Closest restaurants are located at Cote D’or (C), 7 minutes by car.
Regular ferry and catamaran services operate between the islands of Mahé, Praslin and La Digue.
Praslin offers a public transport, a scheduled bus service is available on Praslin between 5.30 a.m. and 7.00 p.m. (Attention: reduced service on Sundays!).
But we highly recommend renting a car as it is the best way to explore all the amazing beaches Praslin has to offer.
All you need is an official driving licence of your own country. There is a speed limit of 45 km/h in inhabited centres and you have to drive on the left.
You could also rent bicycles if you wish but driving is more comfortable and covers more ground. Please note that there are no scooters or mopeds for rent in Seychelles.
Rental averages at Euro 35 to Euro 45 per day for a small 5 door air conditioned car.
We can book the car in advance and it will be delivered upon arrival or when it more convenient for you.

My best holiday ever! The villa was astonishing, Stella & George were very kind, helpful and their cooking skills were extraordinary, especially the grilled fish with creole sauce :) I totally recommend this accomodation for everyone. Looking forward to come back soon.
The villa is spectacular, even more beautiful than in the photos! There is a huge terrace where we had breakfast and dinner where there is always a lovely breeze, so pleasant! The caretakers were kind and thoughtful and bought and cooked amazing fish and sea food for us every night (for a reasonable fee). They picked us up at the airport and back to the jetty for departure, advised on activities, contacted the diving center for us, reserved us bicycles at La Digue and provided any help we asked for. The closest beach is only a five minutes walk and we reached many more gorgeous beaches with a short drive. We will highly recommend it to our friends!
The villa is just magical, I doubt one can find a most beautiful and charming villa in the island! I would just recommend to install an A/C in the living room, the rest is perfect.
Dan and his wife cook very well, and actually it's much better than in restaurants! We intended to try some restaurants but the food cooked by our hosts was so good that we changed our mind without any regrets!
Very nice & helpful hosts. The house keeper was amazing and really helped us a lot regarding destinations, to-dos & he's good chef :)
We had a wunderfull great time in Villa Paille En Queue. The Villa is great, large and very comfortable and near the beach. Dan was of great help, told a lot of interesting stories (what about ThaiAir missing flight ;-) ) and cooked delicious dinners. He also learned us high to eat Cocco nuts!. The house was very clean and the little house rat was of no problem to us :-). WiFi worked perfectly well. We would come back any time and thank Dan, his son and son's friend (for helping with the shopping!), Johnathan and Aretha for everything!

About the Host, Aretha & Jonathan
My life evolves around traveling the world over and so get the great opportunities of meeting people of varying cultures. As a result of this, my villa in the Seychelles is a culmination of the years of traveling and this can be seen by the style of decor.
Having a hectic and stressful life decidedly made me build a house that is peaceful throughout and being surrounded by the tropical forest with birds singing away is the best getaway I have and something which I wish to share to others.
