Interaction with Guests

Your hosts are a well traveled couple and are happy to give advice on the areas of interest of the city and which tourist traps to avoid. We want you to feel at home so help yourself to a coffee, a nice glass of wine or a pint of Guinness in the fully equipped kitchen.

The Neighborhood

Our apartment is located in the new hub of the city. Around the corner is the Irish Financial Service Centre (IFSC) which houses the Convention Centre, perfect for those of you attending conferences.

The O2 arena is located just a 5 minute walk which holds concerts from the worlds biggest stars at least twice a week. Right beside this is Dublin's newest cinema with Ireland largest cinema screen.

Would you like to catch some Irish sports in our national stadium? Croke Park is within walking distance and can be seen from our balcony.

An indoor market is located beside our building and runs every Saturday and Sunday, all year round.

Getting around

Although O'Connell Street is only a 20 minute walk from the apartment there are buses and trams right outside the door which depart every 10 minutes and lead to all parts of the city.

We are a 15 minutes ride from Dublin airport via the Air coach/Airlink service (€6 one-way/€10 round trip). No need for expensive taxis.

Other Things to Note

A self serve breakfast is included at no extra cost where we provide a selection of breakfast cereals, bread, croissants, fruit, jams, teas, coffee and juice.

  • Very good place to stay. Eamonn was extremely helpful in helping us find our way around. He had maps for us and excellent directions. The breakfast was great. It was really nice having our own bathroom too. Dublin is so interesting, and young people will love it too.

  • Wesley and Eamon were amazing hosts! We were met by Wesley at the hotel near the bus stop after our bus ride from Dublin Airport, and he walked us to the apartment where we were offered a beer and a tutorial regarding the cool areas and sights to experience in Dublin and made us feel at home. While we didn't see much of them during our visit (as we were exploring town from pretty much morning to midnight) we were met every morning with breakfast choices setup in their kitchen. I would highly recommend staying with them and we would definitely do so should we return to Dublin. Thanks for making us feel welcome and feel at home during our stay in Dublin!

  • Wesley provided extremely detailed directions to the apartment as both he and Eamon had to work on the day of our arrival. We had no trouble finding the apartment at all. It was quite a walk from the tram station, but it was very easy to get there as we had directions. In addition, Wesley was very prompt and helpful with all our questions and requests. You can't find a more accommodating host.

The apartment was very clean and pretty. The room is spacious and fits two nicely and comfortably. The toilet was also really clean and spacious. It's a nice and pleasant neighborhood, with quite a few families about so it feels very safe.

I would definitely recommend this apartment to everyone!

  • Fantastic stay here. Wesley and Eamon were friendly, courteous and very welcoming. We were met by Wesley from the station and brought to the beautiful flat with a pretty stunning view over the whole of Dublin. Breakfast was left for us each morning which was very generous. Even managed to have a few drinks with them too which was great. They even let us store our bags at the apartment until our flights home. Many thanks guys for helping us have a fantastic break if we're ever back that way we will try to stay here again.

  • We loved staying with Wesley and Eammon! Wesley met us at the bus stop and instantly made us feel right at home. Their place is clean and cozy. The breakfast spread each day was impressive-we didn't go hungry! Our hosts were friendly and very knowledgable about Dublin. We'd definitely recommend them!

  • This was a very good experience and I can highly recommend this. I was in Dublin for a conference. Wesley is a great host. He provided me directions how to get from the airport to their place and he picked me up at the bus station. He also provided me information about Dublin and told me that I could always give him a call in case I needed some help. The apartment is located in a quiet area. You will have your own private bed room and private bath room. All is very clean and tidy. Each morning there was a breakfast with various choices (serials, bread, fruit, milk, eggs, etc).

  • The apartment is walking distance to the city centre and it is a nice walk along the river. There is a bus station and tramp near to the apartment as well but we haven't used it.

  • Wesley and Eamonn were beyond helpful when my sister and i stayed with them. They made sure we always knew where we were going and how to get back, along with making sure that we knew about all of the opportunities for things to do in Dublin. We had a great stay, and were sad to have to leave in the end.

My name is Wesley and my partner is Eamonn. We are a couple sharing the main bedroom of our 2 bedroom apartment. We both work full time but we really enjoy sitting and chatting with our guests or even going to a bar in the city to catch a drink when our work schedule allows. We are both very well travelled and between us we have visited all over Europe, and parts of The U.S., South America, Asia and The Middle East and we are constantly looking out for interesting places to visit. We have a great knowledge of the places of interest around Dublin and Ireland in general and are always happy to give advice on what to see.
