We arrived very late in the evening of April the 8th but received a warm welcome from Eamonn and ended up talking with him a couple of hours and he even shared his whiskey :-) We were given a map of Dublin and in our room were lots of leaflets and books about Dublins sights.
Our room was very tidy, the bed was so very comfortable I had the best sleep in weeks, in the wardrobe was enough space for all our clothes and there even was an ironing board and a hairdryer. The Masterbathroom which we were using was clean, comfortable and warm, lovely towels were provided.
Every morning the kitchen table was laid out for breakfast with all one could ask for, bread, porridge, fruit, eggs, jam and my favourite: peanut butter :-) Of course the very important coffee and tea for every start in the day was not missing. At first it felt a little strange to make our breakfast in someone elses kitchen not wanting to do anythig wrong but we soon felt comfortable and just called it 'home'. The view over the city and to the mountains was wonderful, we often found ourselves sitting there longer than planned enjoying the view and lovely breakfast.
The first day we walked to the City along the Liffey, on other days we used the Luas, the Duga Spencer Station was only a ten min walk away.
I have been in Dublin before but my boyfriend Torsten hadn't and we also had to attend to my cousins wedding on one day - our hosts arranged for us to be picked up by taxi. Over all we were not in the appartment often, arrived late at night and only got up for breakfast when our hosts were already at work most times.
But gladly we were able to meet both of them...and as it was written of other guests before, it was the perfect accomodation with perfect hosts.
Wesley and Eamonn are just sweet and beautiful people, very open- and warm-hearted and they put a smile on your face.
Next time I go to Dublin my first choice would be Wesleys+Eamonns to stay and hoping to find the time to have a beer or two with them.
Our first AirBnB experience was great, in just two words: Absolutely Fabulous! Thanks guys!
We stayed with Wesley and Eamon on the 6th to the 8th of April 2015. This was our first time using airbnb. Their apartment was very homely and consistent with the pictures. The bed was also very comfortable which was exactly what we wanted after 36 hours of travelling! We would thoroughly recommend this apartment and would like to thank Wesley and Eamon for their kind hospitality.
We had a great time in Dublin and Weasley and Eamonn were very kind and welcoming and helpful: their suggestions about places to see and how to move in Dublin were really useful! The bedroom and the house in general were very comfortable and warm and also very clean: we felt like we were in our home!
Wesley and Eamonn were absolutely amazing. When you leave you feel like you have met two friends for life. Their hospitality was remarkable. They both sat down with me and gave me the most helpful suggestions. Their apartment was spacious, very clean, and made me feel as if I was home. And did I mention their breakfast is incredible.
I highly reccomend anyone traveling to Dublin to stay with Wesley and Eamonn.
The apartment is so lovely and the view over the city amazing. We had our own room and a big private bathroom with a shower and a bathtub, and all was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The neighbourhood is very quiet. The breakfast was made with love. It is very close to the Airport (15min by bus) and to the City Center (5min by tram/bus), to catch the bus or tram you have to walk 10-15min from the apartment. You can walk to the City Center which takes you around 30-40min, it is a really nice walk just next to the river. Wesley is a really smart guy and Eamonn the funniest person ever! They were the best hosts we could have in Dublin, they both have the heart in the right place. Irland is so beautiful to explore and Wesley & Eamonn made our trip even more unforgettable. Thank you for everything! We will be back for sure! Marika & Claudia
Wesley was a great Host! We had an absolutely amazing time. They were very welcoming and also spoke to us about all the in and outs of Dublin. The listing was very accurate and the Neighborhood was very good! It was only a 15-20 minute walk to the city, very accessible by tram and bus as well. I would definitely visit again and I highly recommend their place to anybody :) !!!
They were super nice and helpful! Breakfast was delicious and the room and bathroom were super clean. I highly recommend them for your stay in Dublin, they will give you important suggestions.
My name is Wesley and my partner is Eamonn. We are a couple sharing the main bedroom of our 2 bedroom apartment. We both work full time but we really enjoy sitting and chatting with our guests or even going to a bar in the city to catch a drink when our work schedule allows.
We are both very well travelled and between us we have visited all over Europe, and parts of The U.S., South America, Asia and The Middle East and we are constantly looking out for interesting places to visit.
We have a great knowledge of the places of interest around Dublin and Ireland in general and are always happy to give advice on what to see.
