Interaction with Guests
Your hosts are a well traveled couple and are happy to give advice on the areas of interest of the city and which tourist traps to avoid. During your check in we will show you transport options around the city and will be happy to give advice on restaurants, shopping and bars. We prefer guests to be independent during their stay as we both work full time and are usually out socialising with friends on our days off. Our listing is best suited to younger guests who intend to be out and about touring most days.
Our apartment is located 10 minutes walk from the new hub of the city. Around the corner is the Irish Financial Service Centre (IFSC) which houses the Convention Centre, perfect for those of you attending conferences.
The 3 Arena is located just a 10 minute walk which holds concerts from the worlds biggest stars at least twice a week. Right beside this is Dublin's newest cinema with Ireland largest cinema screen.
Would you like to catch some Irish sports in our national stadium? Croke Park is within walking distance and can be seen from our balcony.
An indoor market is located beside our building and runs every Saturday and Sunday, all year round.
Although we are considered a city centre apartment, many guests are surprised to find that all the tourist spots are not right outside the door. The tourist area of the City Centre is a 5 minute bus ride away or a 25 minute walk.
Please note that there are no restaurants directly outside our apartment. There are many restaurants and bars 10 minutes walk away or less than 5 minutes in a taxi for older guests.
Although O'Connell Street is only a 25 minute walk from the apartment there are buses and trams right outside the door which depart every 10 minutes and lead to all parts of the city.
Trinity College 30 minute walk
Temple Bar 30 minute walk
We can arrange a taxi pick up from the airport for a reduced fee (usually 20-25 Euros)
We are a 15 minutes ride from Dublin airport via the Air coach/Airlink service (€6 one-way/€10 round trip).

As with any major city, please take care of your personal belongings when you are in the City Centre. Please do not keep the apartment key along with our address in your purse/wallet. Any lost apartment keys will result in a 50 Euro charge.
This is our home and we like to keep the shared living space tidy. Please leave any dirty dishes in the dishwasher and please don't leave any opened food items lying around.

Have fun and enjoy your stay!
Great place, great hosts. Up till now my best experience with a 'room-AirBnB'. Nice spacious and clean room and a private bath room (great, with bath). Wesley and Aemon leave everything ready for breakfast. It's a 5 min walk to the nearest Dublin Bikes Station which will take you everywhere fast & cheap. Near the convention center as well.
I will definitely be staying here on my next stay!
L'appartement est un peu excentré mais très calme et surtout très bien conçu. Belle salle de bains!
Wesley et Eamonn sont très accueillants, serviables et de bons conseils (restaurants)
My friend and I stayed with Wesley and Eamonn for a few days and although we didn't see them until our last night they always made sure the apartment was clean and they always set out a great breakfast for us in the morning. Both of them are so welcoming and gave us excellent recommendations of what to do and where to go. I would definitely stay with them again next time I'm in Dublin!
My stay here was fantastic. Room and apartment are very nice. Very clean, well decorated and they have a great view of Dublin. I was given a map and lots of helpful tips and directions upon arrival. Great stay!
Wesley and Eamonn's place is in a great location. It's an easy walk to the river, and then follow it all the way into the city center. The room is clean, comfortable and spacious. The private bath is roomy and spacious as well. They set out a great selection for breakfast. Upon arriving, Wesley set us up with a map and some good info on the best transportation around the city and some off the beaten path sites and eateries. I can't recommend these accommodations enough. If you are looking for kind, helpful and easy to talk to people to stay with, book here!
West's place is tidy when we arrived. We stayed 3 nights 1st night was peaceful and 2nd night they continued the gay parade til 5am we didn't get any sleep, 3rd night we had a midnight visitor who crashed
in the living room / kitchen til 5am. The bus is right outside the building the tram stop is about half mile away. Seems like if the hosts were to have party til wee hours they shouldn't have accepted guests... oh well learn a lesson.
Hi Anne, I am sorry to hear about your lack of sleep during your stay. We did indeed go to the City Centre for the pride parade and arrived home at 4am. Myself and my partner sat in the living room with the doors shut and stayed up chatting until 5am (this is after all our home). I was not aware that our chatting was keeping you awake and had we of known we would have certainly kept it down even more for you. With regards to someone 'crashing on the sofa' on the third night I can assure you this did not happen! Eamonn did briefly lay on the couch when he got home and went to bed a short time later. As I was working at 7am the following morning and was awake at 5.30am I saw no evidence of anyone 'crashing on the sofa'. With regards to your Airbnb experience, I should remind you that your rental was for a private room and private bathroom and we are entitled to use our living room as we see fit.
About the Host, Wesley
My name is Wesley and my partner is Eamonn. We are a couple sharing the main bedroom of our 2 bedroom apartment. We both work full time but we really enjoy sitting and chatting with our guests or even going to a bar in the city to catch a drink when our work schedule allows.
We are both very well travelled and between us we have visited all over Europe, and parts of The U.S., South America, Asia and The Middle East and we are constantly looking out for interesting places to visit.
We have a great knowledge of the places of interest around Dublin and Ireland in general and are always happy to give advice on what to see.
