Welcome to Dublin, a conveniently compact and easily accessible city!

Here is your chance to stay in a bright and spacious double bedroom with exclusive access to the master bathroom. The apartment boasts unbelievable views from the balcony and roof garden of the city.

Your spacious, bright, double bedroom is equipped with a double bed, cotton sheets, free WIFI, plenty of storage space, central gas heating and bedside lighting. Towels and a supply of toiletries will be provided to you.

Guest access

You are welcome to use the kitchen and cooking facilities when we are not using them ourselves. We just ask that we have the living area to ourselves for two hours when we arrive home from work so that we can relax and cook ourselves some dinner. If we are at home the kitchen/living area is usually off limits on our from 8pm-10pm. You are welcome to use the facilities before or after this.

The living area consists of a 40" flat screen T.V. and a vinyl player. Again, the living area is free for you to use if we are at work and is usually off limits between 8pm-10pm.

Interaction with guests

Your hosts are a well traveled couple and are happy to give advice on the areas of interest of the city and which tourist traps to avoid. During your check in we will show you transport options around the city and will be happy to give advice on restaurants, shopping and bars. We prefer guests to be as independent as possible during their stay as we both work full time and are usually out socialising with friends on our days off. Our listing is best suited to younger guests who intend to be out and about touring most days.

The neighborhood

Our apartment is located in a residential area, 10 minutes walk from the new hub of the city. Around the corner is the Irish Financial Service Centre (IFSC) which houses the Convention Centre, perfect for those of you attending conferences.

There is an Aldi and Lidl supermarket close by as well as Starbucks, McDonalds and a 6 screen cinema.

The 3 Arena is located just a 10 minute walk which holds concerts at least twice a week.

Would you like to catch some Irish sports in our national stadium? Croke Park is within walking distance and can be seen from our balcony.

Although we are considered a city centre apartment, many guests are surprised to find that all the tourist spots are not right outside the door. The tourist area of the City Centre is a 5 minute bus ride away or a 25 minute walk.

Please note that we live in a residential area and there are no restaurants directly outside our apartment. There are many restaurants and bars 10 minutes walk away or less than 5 minutes in a taxi for older guests.

Getting around

Although O'Connell Street is only a 25 minute walk from the apartment there are buses and trams right outside the door which depart every 10 minutes and lead to all parts of the city.
Trinity College 30 minute walk
Temple Bar 30 minute walk

The local bus to/from the City Centre is No. 151

We are a 15 minutes ride from Dublin airport via the Air coach/Airlink service (€6 one-way/€10 round trip).

Other things to note

A self serve breakfast is included at no extra cost where we provide a selection of breakfast cereals, bread, fruit, jams, teas, coffee and juice. Should you have any special dietary requirements there is a supermarket located just around the corner.

Wesley and Eamonn are absolutely fantastic! We stayed here a month, and they could not be more welcoming, helpful, thoughtful and kind. They shared all kinds of wonderful tips about Dublin to make the most of our time. The apartments view is incredible, you won't want to leave! City Center is just a short Luas ride away. Location, cleanliness, the hosts, the view, everything about this accommodation was lovely. We would recommend this airbnb to everyone and hope to be back again.

Wesley & Eamoon were amazing hosts. Their apartment was very nice. Their attention to detail was much apapreciated. They had maps and gave the best advice on sightseeing and how to get there. They laid out an adorable breakfast every morning! Loved the stay!

Wesley is a super host and makes you feel at home. He receives you with a "welcome home" that make all the tiredness of the trip or your day go out. The room and all the apartment is very clean and warm, the buffet served at the breakfast is really good. They think at every detail. It's like being at a 5 stars hotel. It' s really a Dublin gem. Totally recommended!

Wesley was very communicative and flexible during the check in process. The apartment is as advertised! It's about a 15 minute walk or so from the River Liffey. Very clean and has plenty of space. The guys leave breakfast and some other food out for you, though I felt bad because I never touched the food due to coming back late at night and leaving early in the morning. The guys themselves are great! My last night we had a great time just talking and getting to know one another. In short, considering this was my first Airbnb experience, I was very happy with my stay and highly recommend them.

We love Wesley and Eamonn& you will too!! Wesley and Eamonn are darling! My friend and I needed an early check-in due to our flight arriving around 11, which wasn't a problem at all. All the directions to the flat were spot on& such a breeze. Eamonn mapped out all of Dublin for us& answered any questions, truthfully, about which places to skip and see, since we were here for a short period. My friend and I are "walkers" so getting into the center was about 10-15 mins and just did that for our stay. However, there is a bus right across the street which the men explained very clearly on how to navigate! The room& space was neatly prepped and essentially had everything (especially things you realize you forgot)... from dry shampoo to universal charging adapters. It really did feel like a private bedroom& bath (& sometimes even a whole apartment) because of the accessibility and separateness from the men. This location is perfect for 2 friends, a couple, or a solo traveler, with a beautiful view of South Dublin. My friend and I were really only ever in the flat to sleep& relax which it was perfect for that but we also enjoyed every conversation, as well. We also woke up to a beautiful laid out fresh, breakfast buffet every morning which was a perfect start to the day. To sum it up quickly, you'd be silly not to try and stay at Wesley and Eamonn's location! They're wonderful hosts and just great company in general. They both made our stay in Dublin that much more special.

Wesley and Eamonn were wonderful hosts. They were very responsive from the get go, and were extremely accommodating. They changed their schedules so they could be there to meet me when I flew in earlier than the standard check-in time; they laid out a beautiful breakfast for me every morning; and they were very helpful with tips on transport and sightseeing. The room itself was exactly as advertised, and the private bathroom was immaculate. I came to Dublin for a business trip and it was great to unwind at Wesley and Eamonn's place after long, demanding days. I was also easily able to walk to the Convention Center (where my conference was held) and to many other central sights and restaurants in Dublin. I had a great time and this is hands down the best airbnb experience I've ever had!

My name is Wesley and my partner is Eamonn. We are a couple sharing the main bedroom of our 2 bedroom apartment. We both work full time and usually make the most of our days off by visiting friends so you may not see much of us during your trip.

We are both very well travelled and between us we have visited all over Europe, and parts of The U.S., South America, Asia and The Middle East and we are constantly looking out for interesting places to visit.

We have a great knowledge of the places of interest around Dublin and Ireland in general and are always happy to give advice on what to see.
