The Space

Charming 3-story row home a short walk from the Liberty Bell. Located in the Queen Village neighborhood of Philadelphia, our home is within a block of several of the best restaurants in Philly, including Little Fish, Cochon, Ulivo and many, many more. We are also a short walk (.5 miles) to the Liberty Bell and other historic sights like the Betsy Ross house.

Bus and train are both within walking distance.

We are a family of four and our two-bedroom home has a master bedroom with a murphy bed for two. The kids' room has bunkbeds for two children and a fold-out bed in the upstairs sitting room sleeps two more adults.

The home is comfortably furnished and well-equipped. We only rent it out for short periods when we are away, but if you happen to need a place to stay while we are away, it may be a perfect fit.

Features include a comfortable rear garden with barbecue, wifi and guest parking permits for your stay (for a small extra charge).

The Neighborhood

Some of the best restaurants in Philadelphia within walking distance. Also convenient to parks, and historic sites.

Check In
  • We had a very nice stay at Ben's house in Philadelphia. He was very accommodating to our check in/check out times & was helpful when asking about parking in his area! There were lots of bars & restaurants near by which was very convenient. There were 5 of us & it was definitely big enough but an air mattresses was helpful for our extra person above 4 people because 2 of the beds were smaller children's beds. We had a great time here & I would recommend renting from Ben!

  • Had a lovely weekend here. Very big house, with all the amenities you could need. Location was great too, as it is close to restaurants and bars.

  • Ben was a fantastic host. The place is amazing and is in a great, safe, central part of Philly. Close to pretty much everything. I would love to go back again. The welcome beer and wine was much appreciated as well. Also, when we needed to contact Ben, he was always readily available!

  • Maison confortable dans un quartier très calme de Philadelphie. Très bon contact avec l'hôte.

  • The house is in a great position in Philadelphia and just as described (including the spiral stairs which would be a problem for people with poor mobility!!). Ben was an easy host to deal with & always replied to emails promptly. The house was very tidy (I only wish ours was as good!) & well equipped; the welcoming bottle of wine & cans of beer were greatly appreciated.
    Strongly recommended.

  • This was a great place to stay! Close to the historic sights we wanted to see, and a good respite to come back to after a long day out. Ben was very accommodative, easy to get hold of, and wanted very much to make sure we were happy and comfortable.

  • Ben was an absolutely terrific host, and the house couldn't have been more perfect. We were a group of four adults in town for a wedding. The house was really nice, modern, cozy and home-y, and in a terrific neighborhood...the pictures don't do it justice!

One of the best parts of our stay was the neighborhood: each day and night we enjoyed a different restaurant or coffee shop: it's in walking distance of some of Philly's best coffee, beer, and restaurants, all in a neighborhood that has a lot of local flavor. We felt safe and like there was plenty to do around the area.

The house is a charming three-story in a neighborhood of townhouses. It's got nice old bones but is modern and clearly very well cared for. We enjoyed their great kitchen, patio, and living room, and were comfortable in the bedrooms as well.

As a host, Ben was terrific: responsive, helpful and kind from the time I messaged until we left, making sure we were all taken care of. It was a pleasure to stay at the house, and I can't wait to have a reason to come back for another great weekend.

I would highly recommend this neighborhood, house, and Ben. I feel so lucky and grateful for such a great experience!
