House in the historic center of Lagos.
This is an economic and cozy house, perfect for couples with small children who wants to enjoy and meet Lagos.
The location is perfect, exactly halfway between the beach and the center of Lagos. By feet, it takes two minutes to the shops and five minutes to the beach, so you will not need a car to enjoy Lagos...
We provide further fresh linens and bath towels, face towels and even beach towels,
In the kitchen you will find everything needed for basic confection of your meals.
We want to provide a great stay in Lagos to our guests, helping them to enjoy as much as possible, even we are trying to create a sightseeing tour of Lagos, based on our knowledge and experience and opinions of our guests. For that, all opinions about our home and on experiences lived by guests in Lagos are welcome. As good restaurants, bars, shops, beachs ...
In this house we have one double bed and one sofa bed who has two separate beds.
The house does not have a washing machine, but we provide this service if requested. For it, is only necessary to ask us.
We also have WiFi
Something else that the guests need extra, is only needed to talk to us about it. We try to provide within our means.
Pedro and Family
The apartment is a cute little maisonette. It is very close to the city center (2min) and to the ocean/harbor (5min). Parking was free close by the apartment.
Pedros mom met us at the apartment to hand us the keys. She was very friendly. We got a bottle of wine as a welcome gift! :o) Thank you!
We had great three days in Lagos.
There is a Spar, InterMarche and Lidl close by so we cooked at the apartment.
There is a little little beach bar next to Lindas Restaurant&Bar which had live music on Sunday afternoon.
Must See: Praia de Marinha (30 min drive)
Nice, clean, and cosy place! Pedro's grand father is very nice and welcome you friendly!
The bedroom is little but luminous.
Two radiator permits to warm the rooms, so we didn't have cold temperature problems!
Studio is close to the old town and near a supermarket.
Great and welcoming hosts! Thank you for the fresh oranges!
Good location, small but clean & functional. Cold floors in winter but sufficient heating & blankets provided. Pedro was very quick to respond when the WiFi wasn't working at first, providing a fast mobile internet device that was extremely useful during our stay. Also offered to drive us to the bus stop which was above & beyond expectation!
Great spot! lovely apartment! 5 minute walk to the most beautiful beach ever seen! Pedro is really nice and is a great host, we definitly recommand!
This little flat was well-located, and easy to use as a base for exploration. Although the flat is quite small, we had everything we needed to be comfortable! Pedro and his family were gracious hosts, and I would recommend this flat to anyone visiting Lagos!
The little house was very basic, clean and cosy. We stayed for 3.5 nights and had 3 females in our twenties, but we were only left with one toilet paper roll for the entire weekend! (Which I'm sure was just an oversight) I contacted Pedro about this and also requested some beach towels (unfortunately they were only regular towels) and he answered my email within the hour, which was very helpful. We also had a surprise guest arrive in the middle of our stay and Pedro was able to give us a quote for and extra person via email.
The first floor was the coldest floor but we were given enough blankets for the entire stay so we were able to get a good nights sleep. The place was about 10mins from the centre but also 10mins walk to a beach which was fantastic as some of the days were warm enough to go swimming in winter!
If you are tech savvy modern traveller with a smartphone, I wouldn't recommend staying here as the wifi was slow and could barely handle the capacity of one smartphone, let alone all three of ours when we stayed. In the end we became frustrated and went to a cafe with wifi to make our daily travel plans. The house also didn't have a microwave so longer stays may be difficult.
We were received by the grandma on arrival but there was a major language barrier. Luckily we had a friend who spoke Spanish which I am told is similar to Portuguese, so we got the gist of what needed to happen.
We had good weather for that time of year, watched a movie in English in the Portuguese cinema, and tried the Portuguese cuisine as recommended by the tourist information office. It was a good stay.
Pedro's house is nice, well located and extremely clean, however, I cannot recommend staying there. The house is extremely cold due to the beautiful tile and marble floors and walls and lack of insulation. It would probably be very nice in the summer months, but I wouldn't recommend for the winter. I found it to be overpriced as well.
We had a lovely stay in Pedro's apartment. Whilst it is small it has everything you need, is very clean and having upstairs and downstairs areas make it feel spacious. Easy walk to town and beach from the apartment and nice to enjoy cooking your own meals in the kitchen. Pedro is a very helpful and responsive host.
The lovely grand mother received us and she is very nice. The room is very clean and tidy. Lagos is so beautiful and we really saw the dolphins.
