The appartment/house is a classic robust Athenian house of the 60s with high ceilings and big bright windows, though newly renovated providing all comforts and practicalities.
It is on the ground floor with a small garden and terrace around its 3 quarters and is fitted with an alarm system and security frames so you can roam Athens carelessly during the day and sleep peacefully during the night.
Front of the house faces a tranquil pedestrian street, with a bus stop being 100 metres away. Two metro stations are also very close each within a 10' walk.
The front yard can accommodate a parking spot for one car if that is needed.
The only rule is to have a great time but please leave the house the way you found it.
Very cozy, clean and accurate housing. Very-very well-furnished with a lots of cute and lovely interior details. You will have anything you need. Although the house has no air conditioning, we had no problems with the heat due to the fact that the house is well ventilated and has thick walls.
The neighbors are very nice and quiet young family (apartments are located on the ground floor of a two-storey house).
10 minutes walk to the subway station Dafni and after 3 or 4 stations you will get to Acropoli station, where you can spend pleasant evenings. Athens is a really city, that never sleeps and you can walk all of nighs there.
If you suddenly find that the metro is closed, you can always get a cab home. The fare does not exceed 10 euros at any time of day, because the house is located pretty close to the center.
The hoster is a very interesting and hospitable young man. Do not hesitate to ask him and he will tell you all about the interesting places nearby.
Vassilis, thanks you. It was really a very pleasant two weeks in one of the most exciting cities in the world!

I always find the describe yourself box to be a bit of a challenge but I will do my best to be as accurate as possible. I have been living in Athens all my life and as thus know it well enough to be a guide for both its famous locations and its concealed beauties. I enjoy travelling and meeting different people on a daily basis and love spending time with my friends and (website hidden) dinner and chatting over a bottle of wine and good company is my favorite way to spend off my time. I also enjoy films, reading and hiking. I am well traveled for my age but am always looking for new destinations. I am friendly, helpful and an excellent host.
