'ENJOY MY HOME' 2steps from subway

Apartment - Entire home/apt · Via Diana, Rome, Lazio 00175, Italy

My lovely apartment is in a quiet and well connected area, a few kilometers from the city center and a few meters from the subway "A" line; it is ideal for holidaymakers who want to enjoy Rome during the day or at night.

The Space

N.B. The price shown is for the WHOLE APARTMENT EXCLUSIVE USE, if you're 2 persons i will close one room and you can use a room, bathroom and kitchen. If you want to rent a single room with shared use of bathroom and kitchen please use the other 2 ads (the price is € 50 per day).

The apartment consists of TWO DOUBLE BEDROOMS (they have separate locks), a living room with kitchenette and a bathroom with large shower.
The kitchen is fully equipped, which is a plus for those who want to enjoy a 'cheap' holiday without the need to eat out every time. You can freely use the OVEN and MICROWAVE. Dishes and pans are freely available for you to use together with all the cooking 'essentials' ingredients such as salt, pepper, sugar, coffee and olive oil. This will take away all of your worries before you leave home and you can focus on just what you will do for fun and relaxation.
For the convenience of those staying more than a few days, there is a WASHING MACHINE in the bathroom with CLEANING POWDER and FABRIC SOFTENER; the bathroom is also equipped with an HAIR-DRYER , SHOWER GEL, SHAMPOO AND TOOTHPASTE.

BED LINEN AND TOWELS are included in the price for the room.
Each room is equipped with digital TV; there is also a larger LCD TV 32'' with dvd player in the spacious living room.
INTERNET WIFI 24h included and in the living room you can find a PC on tap.
In addition, I make available a MOBILE PHONE to be able to contact me for any case, you are free to top up credit and use it during your stay.
With so heavy restrictions on the weight of the airplane luggage, I shall help you getting rid of your troubles by leaving a 'ready to use' apartment so you don't have to spend your first day running to the supermarket.
And if you do have any extra requirements please contact me before booking and we will find a solution together.

Should you need a check-in after 8 p.m. let me know before you book, so I can make sure I can be hosted by a friend for the night, because now i'm living with my boyfriend in a our and a half from Rome :)

The Neighborhood

If you want to shop “Via Tuscolana” is the place for you; it is one of the most famous shopping streets of Rome and it is much cheaper than the city center, it can be reached in 5-6 minutes from my apartment. In addition, the district has everything you need: supermarkets (Sachop, near the metro station is open until 21.30), low cost food shops, household shops, coffee houses and newsagents, a 6 screens cinema, pharmacies (also at night), pizzerias and restaurants.. All these can be easily accessible by walking; forget the car and start enjoying Rome!

Getting around

The subway stop “PORTA FURBA - QUADRARO” on the A Line is just a 5-6 minute walk from the apartment.
Subway trains are running Sunday to Thursday 5:30am to 11:30pm and Friday-Saturday 5:30am to 1:30am. During subway closing time you can easily get the night bus N1 which run on the same route as the Subway A Line.
The subway takes you to Termini Station in 10 minutes, Spanish Steps in 15 and at the Vatican in 20 minutes.
If you want to reach the Colosseum and the Imperial Forum, just get off at Termini and take the B line to Colosseo and you will be catapulted in ancient Rome with lots of gladiators and chariots in just about 15 minutes.
For those coming from Fiumicino Airport there is the Terravision bus (4€) to Termini Station or the city train that will take you to Tuscolana Station (ticket is only € 8) and from there you can take the Subway at PONTE LUNGO (5 mins walk); it's only 4 stops from PORTA FURBA, the closest station to my apartment.

For those coming from the Ciampino Airport, take the local bus to the subway stop ANAGNINA and from there you will be 6 subway stops to PORTA FURBA.

Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • Roberta house is lovely. Its comfortable and clean and has everything you need. The train station is very close and its very easy to navigate your way to all the major attractions in Rome. Roberta is an awesome host even though we only seen her to check in she had so much information for us and advice on what we should see and how to get there. I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a quiet fully stocked base for exploring Rome.

  • Had a lovely stay at Roberta's house. Really handy to the metro and everything we needed was there, just like home. Thanks!

  • This is an absolutely fantastic apartment in a great area of Rome! Roberta was the perfect host, meeting us on arrival and showing us everything we needed to be comfortable in the apartment and providing us with some very thoughtful and useful local information.
The space itself is perfect for a holiday, the apartment is stocked with everything we could have wanted from a washing machine (traveller's luxury!) to utensils for cooking a relaxed dinner at home.
Conveniently located close to the Metro and also a lovely walk packed with shops and restaurants. We found food, both in the supermarkets and restaurants so much cheaper than central Rome even though we were so close so this is a definite plus. I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else on my return to Rome.

  • Roberta has a wonderful apartment close to the metro, little markets, restaurants, and a fabulous little coffee shop in an area not affected by the tourists. The whole neighborhood was helpful, eager to communicate and learn about us! Roberta has a love for hosting keeping everything VERY clean, thinking of all your needs. And she responds very quickly should you need help. We loved her quiet little place after a day in hot, busy, crazy, wonderful Rome! Thank you, Roberta!

  • Roberta was an excellent host. Her apartment was comfortable, spacious, and emaculately clean. There was a washer there to clean our clothes and she even left us a welcome basket when we arrived with everything we might need during our stay. She was very easy to contact with fast responses both before and during our stay. Staying in Roberta's apartment made all the difference during our trip to Rome and we would love to stay with her again if we return to Italy.

  • We enjoyed our stay at Roberta's apartment! Roberta was very helpful in that she had provided us with a map of the neighborhood, which helped us navigate around the area. That said, the apartment is surrounded by many supermarkets and convenient stores, and it is fairly easy to find food around the area. The metro was also just a few minutes away. The apartment itself was very clean and located within a gated community, so we definitely felt safe living there. Roberta was very easy to communicate with and was very friendly!

  • Roberta our hostess was awesome! The apartment was just perfect for our Roman Holiday! Close to the metro, clean, warm, and very cozy. Roberta was accommodating in meeting our needs and informative about where to eat, park, park and shop! We would highly recommend Roberta and her home to our friends, and we will be calling her again for our next trip to Rome in September. We could not have dreamed that our stay would have been so perfect! Thanks so much Roberta!!!!!

We enjoyed coming home to a quiet apartment after the hustle and bustle of the day. Overall, we felt as though we found a gem in Rome! It was stocked with easy instructions and a map of the immediate area which was quite adorable as well!
