About This Listing
Quiet little place. Patio and separate entrance. We prefer 3 night minimum stays but are open to fewer upon request if it works for our schedule
We're mostly interested in 30+ day corporate style rentals but if you see availability that probably means we can work with your request!
This is a fairly recently renovated cozy ground floor apartment on a private pedestrian alley. It gets wonderful afternoon sun.
It's a fully equipped space with a small, private, outdoor seating patio in the back with a table that seats 4.
The bed is a super comfortable Full sized bed. The bathroom is small but very functional. The main kitchen / seating area is highly conducive to gathering and includes one full sized sleeper sofa and a twin size sleeper (hard to describe but you are not sleeping on a 'couch')
There is bedding available for all options.
The flat is located 1 block from the heart of North Beach and all it has to offer. Its 2 blocks from Coit Tower and 6 blocks from Fisherman's Wharf.
There is excellent public transport at Columbus and Stockton for wherever you want to go in SF.
Parking for a small or mid-sized car is available upon request ($20 a day). However, the space is very tight, so if you have anything larger than a sedan, or a small suv, you're out of luck. fortunately, there is a local public option nearby (Vallejo and Sansome)
Dogs accepted at our discretion. Please inquire. However, if there is any question about whether your dog is truly "quiet" or "well mannered", please be honest and don't bring your beastie if you think it might be an issue. SF is dense so people tend to notice these things. Also, be aware that there are occasional neighborhood off leash dogs at our end of the cul de sac out for walks. If you bring your dog, just be aware of that.
Washer / Dryer, private patio.
Interaction with Guests
We have a keyless entry so generally there is little need for me to meet you, though I frequently come around to the property.
North Beach is awesome. Grant St. is like a little Bourbon St. Chinatown is blocks away. The food choices are excellent. And as much as I don't like touristy things, Fisherman's Wharf is pretty cool.
Uber, Sidecar, Lyft, Flywheel and Summon give you access to amazing private transport options.
Other Things to Note
Due to heavy travel we appreciate a sparse lifestyle and keep most if not all owner stuff out of your way. It'll feel like "your" pad in SF!
After a lot of research, we settled on SebaMed bath and shower products for our guests. We think they represent the highest quality / value combination and though they aren't "cheap" we think its important to treat people right.
We are Amazon Fresh members. If you are arriving late with a family or for any other reason, would like the kitchen to be pre-stocked, we can handle that. Many of our guests like to have the basics on hand for their stay so please don't hesitate to ask.
I would highly recommend using Uber to travel around the city. The service / experience is beyond excellent and many steps above our yellow cab service. If you are heading to the airport and need an Uber and don't have the app, I'm happy to order one for you (you can leave me cash in the apt).
We're pretty relaxed about 'rules'. use your best judgement and don't hesitate to call with any questions.
We allow dogs, but must pre-screen type and may elect not to approve. Absolutely NO cats.
great place to stay in sf! wonderful neighbourhood and great host.
I cannot recommend this place highly enough! All the way through the booking process and our stay Tommy was incredibly helpful. He even helped us to sort out our costumes for a Halloween party! thanks Tommy :).
The apartment is in a fantastic location, easy walking distance to many places to eat and drink and also many tourist attractions. The place was extremely well equipped, spotlessly clean and all in all was the perfect base to explore the city from for a couple of days.
Tommy's place was great for my quick stay in SF. The address is a little tricky being that it's down a walking alley, but he provided excellent directions. I had no problem finding it. The keyless entry is clutch. Bed was super comfortable. The cleaning lady that came during the second day of my stay left everything immaculate. I was impressed! Overall it was comfortable and quiet. And they have a Nest thermostat, so the nerd side of me geeked out a bit.
One cool thing? He has a guest book! It was awesome to see where everyone had come from.
Unfortunately, I was in town for a work trip, so I didn't explore the neighborhood directly around the apartment. I will say having been in SF before, that it's walking distance to a ton of things -- including North Beach restaurants, the Financial District, etc. It's a great, safe location!
The reservation was canceled 10 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
