Luxury and quality with traditional detailing and charm in solid brick NEW (2010) 5-story, safe, quiet, family-oriented building w/elevator.
If you want comfort and a quality stay, then my apt will be well-suited for you. If you are looking for an authentic and quaint NY experience, the Cobble Hill/Carol Gardens neighborhood is the epitome of classic Brooklyn. It is also a short walk to the Promenade in Brooklyn Heights, with the best views of Manhattan. Also near downtown Brooklyn courts and government facilities. Close walk to the new waterfront park that will take you to Dumbo. This location is convenient to everything!
Clean and open living/dining area, one large bedroom, tiled bathroom w/extra-large tub/shower, cook's kitchen (Viking, Sub Zero appliances) plus D/W, W/D, AC. Brazillian cherry wood flooring and CeasarStone counters. Views to private building courtyard.
Convenient to grocery shops (Traders Joe, corner gourmet fruit and vegetable stand and Union Market), pharmacy, fish market, cheese shop, and butchers.
Variety of neighborhood boutiques, specialty shops, restaurants, and bars. Some of my favorite include Hibino, Henry Public (Bar), Bocca Lupo, Rucola, Brooklyn Inn, Battersby, and Colony just to name a few! Access to small gym and rooftop amenities. Near many family run and traditional local businesses. A special home away from home in Brooklyn.
Convenient to subways: 3 blocks from F/G train off the Bergen St. Station. Also within short walking distance to all downtown Brooklyn trains (4/5/2/3/A/C/N/R)
No shoes (remove inside by door)
No parties or unapproved people allowed in

The perfect location for our first family trip to NYC. Really close to loads of great places to eat out (and order in), little boutiques and stores for all of us to shop and lots of parks and playgrounds for our 1 year old little girl to explore. The condo is great, super baby/toddler friendly and all the kitchen facilities you'd ever need - including a washing machine and dryer. Also most importantly during our visit working air-con - it was July and heatwave time! The walk to Bergen St subway takes 10mins with a slow walking toddler and you're in Manhattan in 3 stops. Would definitely book again and I'll be keeping my eye out for any future available dates that coincide with a visit. Perfect accommodation that helped make for a brilliant trip!
I'm originally from Seattle, moved to NYC in 2000, and can't seem to leave! Love NYC especially Brooklyn. I work as a freelance Art director. I also do illustrations and fine art. I love to travel, the most valuable experience so far was Bali.
