  • Great spot to relax as a home-base for wine tasting :D... there is a fireplace, chickens, an awesome cat, and very welcoming hosts.

  • Excellent accommodations! Had a wonderful time.

  • We had great stay at Jimmy and Dina's cottage. They were great hosts, and provided us with all the amenities we needed for an enjoyable time in Napa—not to mention a complimentary bottle of win. The cottage was a perfect size, very clean and comfortable overall. We also enjoyed the fire pit on the deck.

As for location, the cottage is a short drive to highway 29, allowing for easy access to the wineries. It's also a little over mile to downtown Napa and Oxbow Market; a great spot for delicious and affordable food, coffee and drinks.

  • Gorgeous room and such gracious hosts. Would definitely stay again!

  • We had a great experience staying at Jimmy and Dina's. The house is exactly as advertised - quaint, quiet and a perfect stay for 1 or 2. We loved the couples personal touches, which really made it feel like a home away from home.

The house is a short drive to down, and right off Hwy 29. Jimmy and Dina are fabulous hosts, completely non- invasive but friendly and helpful when needed.

  • Dinna and Jimmy were the perfect hosts!!! Jack and I had the amenities of a resort, with the warmth, hospitality of a home. We also enjoyed the great discretion and privacy of a tucked away retreat.
Whether you are looking for total privacy, or a more open sharing experience in a local home, visiting Dinna and Jimmy is the perfect place to call home away from home in Napa!!!!
Thank you for making our vacation wonderful!!!

  • We stayed at Jimmy and Dina's cottage for our first trip to Napa. It was lovely - the bed was comfy, towels and linens were soft, and Bingo the cat was very friendly! We were welcomed by a bottle of wine and two generous wine glasses - great way to start the trip! The guest room had plenty of storage for clothing and luggage and the adjacent bathroom was filled with every toiletry you could need. It was helpful to have a local's guide of wineries, which they included in a resource binder in the cottage. The location was perfect. We were literally 10 minutes or less from all of the restaurants and wine bars of downtown Napa along with Napa wineries, and it was a quick ride up to Yountville and St. Helena to visit those areas. Jimmy and Dina were warm and welcoming. They made us feel very comfortable while staying at their cottage. Great hosts and great accommodations!

  • I would add more stars if I could. Jimmy and Dina were amazing and gracious hosts! Everything was well represented in the pictures online (its actually more spacious than it appears), and the house was easy to find. We had no problems getting a hold of them if we needed anything. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with a bottle of wine! A great welcoming gift for Napa Valley. The couple even took the time to socialize with us one evening on the back patio. I could go on and on about how great the place and couple are- but you should just book it now so you can see it for yourself!

  • It would only be fair to state that my best friend and I actually changed our vacation week because we read such wonderful reviews about Jimmy and Dina so that we could stay with them. So rather than head out west in September, we waited a couple of weeks for their availability, reserved their space, and then planned the vacation around that. They got back to us quickly and were flexible when we decided to extend our trip in Napa rather than go back to San Francisco before heading back out east to go home.

It was definitely the best decision we made because Jimmy and Dina are amazing hosts. Not only is their guest cottage perfect, they are extremely amenable, friendly, and really provided a holistic stay. They are extremely knowledgable about the area and their extensive guidebook is wonderful and gives superb recommendations of the area.

The cottage space is clean, the bed is extremely comfortable, and they have all the amenities you need to have a comfortable stay. Their patio/fire pit area is a great place to relax after a long day of tasting, hiking or cycling around the area. And the cottage is situated just minutes from downtown, giving you the best of both worlds - quiet and serene at night and a quick jaunt to the action for wonderful events during the day.

I could not recommend them more as hosts and their cottage as the perfect place to stay on your trip to one of the most wonderful places on the west. Book as soon as you know you are going to Napa. They are worth the stay (and/or wait) to really set the foundation for a great trip to wine country!

We will definitely be heading back to Napa and we hope that Jimmy and Dina will be there to welcome us like they did this year.
