Description

The space

The loft creates the perfect setting for a luxurious stay in the Historic Core of DTLA. This is a private room in the large loft. The room available is built with two 6 foot windows that span across one entire wall, high polish concrete floors, original exposed brick and closet. You can have plenty of privacy with floor to ceiling walls and door which sometimes isn't common in DTLA lofts.

The queen size bed is fluffed in soft, clean linens with plenty of pillows for comfortable sleeping. The room is decorated with a few antique pieces. A wooden marble top dresser for clothes, and a pair of special brocade style lamps. There is also a small coffee table and a pair of chairs for extra seating and a silky Afghani rug under the bed. The television is equipped with a Roku stick that provides Netflix, all Spectrum cable channels, HBO, and Showtime.

The separate bathroom is minimally decorated with a large mirror and shelving. There is a shower/tub with modern tiles, large sink and counterspace. There is a blow dryer and flat iron to use, and whatever other personal items of mine you may have forgotten and can borrow.

You are welcome to as much privacy and independence as you want, this home is being shared with you. If you need to close the door and do your own thing not a problem at all :) Feel free to make phone calls or work comfortably from home in your room or out in the common space like the dining table or couch.

Amenities include internet, a washer/dryer, dishwasher, and a fabulous 6 foot projector screen in the living room with Roku stick to watch cable TV and Netflix. For those who like to play the piano, we have that too.

The loft was remodeled to provide 3 completely enclosed private and separate bedrooms, you will be staying in one of them. There is plenty of room to move about freely in this loft, impossible to feel crowded here :) The loft is decorated with a modern aesthetic, great furniture and a few modern art pieces on the walls. The lobby, large kitchen and enormous living room is the common space shared with myself and my loft mate (2 of us). My loft mate is a traveling nurse and they have their own private bedroom and bathroom on the other side of the loft. There is one small dog here that is mostly in my room or out with me :)

The building has access to a ROOFTOP DECK with a fireplace, gazebos and lots of lounge chairs for basking in the sun. You can enjoy a glass of wine as you're relaxing to the breath taking skyline view of downtown and it's sunset colors. NO access for filming or photo shoots.

This loft lends a perfect sleek backdrop for PHOTOSHOOTS. The neighborhood is always being filmed for its New York look and the street itself never has a dull moment. This location is vibrant and exciting, full of city hustle and bustle unique to LA, very similar to NYC. Many great cafes for the perfect cappuccino and farm-to-table restaurants nearby in every direction, a couple organic juice bars to stay healthy and revived. 2 Metro link stations nearby and plenty of paid parking lot options.

Guest access

Interaction with guests

Im pretty confident you will feel as if the place is all to yourself our interaction will be so minimal.

You can interact with me as much as you like if you see me, or tuck away and be completely independent, there are no obligations here. I am a warm welcoming person and will be happy to draw you maps of where to go for the day, point you in the right direction for food or events. Since I have a jewelry business, sometimes sharing stories happens.

I'm usually in the kitchen for a little bit of you see me out and about. I bring Swirl, my dog, to work everyday so interaction with her is minimal unless you love sweet dogs and then she'll love on you.

My flat mate is a traveling nurse and is pretty stealth, we rarely see each other. They have their own private bathroom and room on the other side of the loft.

Had a great time at Jenella's place. It is as described. A very hip area of DTLA - lots of restaurants. It was a 20 min walk to the convention center. Jenella was easy to contact with questions and helped with things to do

She knows alot about the area and can be helpful to your visit. She was available instantly. I felt like I was staying with an old friend. The bed was a dream to sleep in. I binge watched on Roku. I was able to make my smoothies. The restroom was clean and easy to access. I definitely enjoyed my stay. If you choose her she does not disappoint.

Jenella is a great host who offered a brilliant experience for my stay in LA for one week. Just like staying in my own property when I stayed in Jenella's apartment. The apartment has huge size of living room, the bed is very comfortable, all the apartment is being kept very clean. This apartment has a very good location, and only one block from the famous book store 'The last bookstore' in LA.

I run an incredible successful and unique jewelry company based in Downtown Los Angeles going 20 years strong. Originating from San Francisco, we uprooted the business to DTLA 4 years ago for better visibility in the fashion industry. My business takes me all over the world and I am always on the move. I am currently based out of Los Angeles, and working on a side project in Palm Springs. Living in a loft like this has been my longtime dream and a unique experience unlike any other I've lived. The large open space is inspires big dreams, limitless opportunity and a modern lifestyle. I am very excited to have you enjoy the space as much as I have.
