Mhofu stands on a plot of total 2000 m². The house is available for 4 people. The house has 2 separate bedroom with entrance, closet and shower room with toilet on the ground floor. Our detached, built in South African style and furnished house (not modern) with a thatched roof. There is a livingroom with open kitchen, a loft that leads to the balcony. Outside there is a veranda, a splash pool and a large indigenous garden where wild animals graze. A boma with a braai (bbq).

The space
By a staircase of 2 steps you enter the large veranda / sidewalk. The gate will take you to the splash pool. Through a small step you slide open 2 sliding doors (front and screen door) you enter the bright living / living room with a dining area, a sofa with 2 armchairs and a coffee table (surface area 31 m²). The decor is African bush style. Not modern. A CD/radio player with CDs is on an open cupboard. Art by Africans is an important part of the house. All windows have mosquito nets. The ground floor has both ceiling fans and air conditioning. The garden is visible from every place. There are groundfloor and veranda no thresholds!

The open kitchen is equipped with a natural stone countertop with water (purification) -tap, an electric heater, a microwave, a 4 pits gas cooker (including an oven), a hood and combi fridge-freezer, blender, coffeemachine, mixer etc. There is a built-in store cupboard.

The two private bedrooms (2x queen single beds) with own bathroom, shower room with toilet and sink. Also wardrobes for holiday clothes.

Upstairs (open loft) is the single bed.

Guest access
The barn and some cabinets after all spaces for the tenants of Mhofu accessible.

Ivo and Wilma live in a small city in the Netherlands and fall in love with beautiful South Africa. In 2004, we bought holiday home Mhofu in Marloth Park. Since then, we've been renting out this lovely place where the wildlife roam around the house and in the village. Do you want to become one with nature? Enjoy the beautiful Kruger Park, but 200 mt from Mhofu and watch the animals drinking and grazing in the Crocodile river! Rent Mhofu and experience wildlife so close! We love traveling, visiting cities, wildlife, videos and photos of, walking and driving in our 4x4 right through Southern Africa.
