PHOTOGRAPHY HAS BEEN ORDERED! PHOTOS WILL BE UPDATED SOON!

Located in Mueller - a lovely new neighborhood in Central East Austin.
About the house:
2700 square feet
3 bedroom (plus a 4th bedroom that we use as a kids playroom), 3 full bathrooms
Open floor plan with a sectional sofa and a 50" TV. We have Hulu and Netflix - so plenty of shows when you're not at the shows. Our dining room table expands to seat 12 - so if you have a large group, you can feed them all!

Master Bedroom: Queen sized Tempur-Pedic mattress. Black out curtains. Separate tub and shower. His and hers sinks.

Guest Bedroom 1: Queen sized Beauty Rest Black Label mattress. (It's a little girl's bedroom, so it's decorated with butterflies - it's ok, you're only here to see the sights and sounds of Austin, so don't worry about the butterflies.) It also has a crib, so if you are planning to travel with kids - this is a great option for families.

Guest Bedroom 2: Currently a bunk bed with TempurPedic mattresses. We can set up the beds as two twins easily. I'm not sure if they would smoosh together to make a king-sized bed. (See above comment about sights and sounds of Austin.)

Guest Bedroom-ish 3: We have an Eddie Bauer queen blow up mattress that we use in the downstairs bedroom for larger groups if requested. It's very nice, just pretend it's a sleep number bed and all will be well.

Kitchen is lovely - big island with seating around. Gas cooktop - all the tools that you'll need.

If you're not into cooking, this area of Austin is well regarded for its eateries:
Fancy/Date night type of places: Contigo, East Side Cafe, Vivo
Nice get together places: Hoovers, Salty Sow, El Chile
Cute Fast-ish places: Flat Top Burger, Pacos Tacos, Mi Madres, El Chilito (walk up)
Fast Food/Chain places: Texas Land and Cattle, How Do You Roll, Which Wich, Chipotle, Tino's Greek Cafe, and....of course....wait for it...Starbucks. Yup.

Transportation: Cab rides will run about $15 to downtown. Also, if you're a member of Car2Go, Mueller is in the service area. Downtown is 3.7 miles from here - so a bike ride is not out of the question, and might be smart considering the parking downtown is no bueno.

House Rules

Please no smoking or pets. We do have a dog that normally lives here, so if you are allergic to pets, this might not be a good option for you. She is not allowed on furniture or beds.

We live in a nice neighborhood, so we ask for respectful occupants. No guests other than those listed on the agreement. It's a quiet neighborhood, so keep noise inside the house. No leaking :)

Please eat only what you bring. We have a guest fridge and freezer in the laundry room. Or we can move our stuff there if you need more space!

A poem called Guests:

You are welcome here, be at your ease
Get up when you're ready, go to bed when you please
We're happy to share with you such as we've got
The leaks in the roof, the soup in the pot
You don't have to thank us, or laugh at our jokes
Sit deep and come often, you're one of the folks.
-I have no idea who wrote this. Someone famous, perhaps. Or not. Who knows.
