The space

Our 1830s rustic and comfortable farmhouse, Blue Flyer Farm is available for rent through the seasons. The summer months are filled with blueberries and rhubarb, with swims in the pond and hikes around the meadows. Fall is full of foliage, hot chocolate, starry nights and toasty fires. Winter is abundant with skiing, snow, sledding and skating, in close proximity to some of the best ski mountains in Southern Vermont. X-Country trails are just around the corner and the warm fireplace is perfect for recovering from your day's adventures.

The farmhouse has been recently renovated but maintains a rustic charm – peaceful setting with breathtaking vistas. Conveniently located near major destination spots: historic Chester, Weston, Grafton, Londonderry, and Manchester; skiing nearby at Magic, Bromley, Stratton, and Okemo; two-minute drive to Okemo's Tater Hill Golf Club.

Blue Flyer Farm is our home and we expect you to be respectful. We also expect you to enjoy the amazing outdoors on the property, and to be comfortable and relaxed as our guests. We love to cook, and the kitchen is fully furnished. We'll expect you to make many great memories -- swimming in the pond in the summer, gazing at the stars on crystal clear nights, eating amazingly good local foods from the Chester and Londonderry farmers' markets, and above all, being able to share this wonderful place with family and friends.

Three large bedrooms (two rooms each with a queen bed and a third room with one full and two twin beds) – perfect for two families. Can accommodate up to 8 very comfortably. Large living room with fireplace, library/TV room, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms, washer/dryer, Internet TV, VCR/DVD player, i-pod dock & stereo.
Well mannered pets considered.

Access to private 12-acre swimming/boating quarry pond. 7.5 Private acres with access to adjacent hillside meadows.

Prices include 9% VT Room Tax.
Price per night reflects a weekend rate for peak winter dates. Let us know if you are interested in a week or longer.

The four of us (two couples) truly enjoyed our stay at Hilda's farmhouse during this past New Year's Weekend. The house was cozy, comfy, and warm, and we very much enjoyed cooking our New Year's Eve meal in the well-equipped kitchen. Although the weather outside was brutally cold…

We had a wonderful time and enjoying staying at the farmhouse. It is a charming and cozy home and we loved the location. We skied on Saturday at Okemo and prepared dinner at the house. The kitchen had everything we needed.

Hilda was very responsive via email prior to booking the house and allowed us to bring our two dogs. The house is in a nice location not far from to multiple mountains. There is also a nice knoll and pond in the back. The house is old - so it does have some of the quirks of an ol…

Beautiful house in a quiet location. Ideal for fall colors, which were at their peak in this part of Vermont when we visited. Kitchen is well equipped for staying in and cooking. Hilda was very responsive and helpful to all our queries. Overall, we had a wonderful time.
