Generally I am present in the main house during our guest's stay and I prefer to greet guests upon their arrival, however this may not always be possible. I can be invisible, or I am always available by text or telephone, if not in person. I am always happy to offer ideas or suggestions to those looking for a locals opinion or perspective.
This quiet neighborhood is the oldest and one of the most desirable in Mt. Pleasant, with a mix of homes ranging from the early 1800's to modern. Most of the older homes can be found on or near the Charleston Harbor several blocks away. The neighborhood is not a planned development with governing HOA rules.

A water taxi is also available to downtown from Shem Creek for $20 per person. It is a very nice area for riding bikes, as well, and there are several bicycle shops that rent bikes nearby.
