It was great to stay at Anna's place and Ischia di Castro is a lovely non-touristic place, which makes the real Italy experience complete.
Anna was very helpful with information about restaurants, sightseeing etc and made us feel at home.
Ischia is 40 minutes from the see and 20 minutes from the lake, and there are many more interesting places to see around.
If you like authenticity and Italy, I would recommend to stay here.
Anna´s appartment is lovely. Located in the old part..... that gives you the possibility to feel living for many years ago, but yet in 2013!
Anna is the best host!!!! She is there for you ..... I´ll be back Anna!!!
I couldn't have wished for a more charming place to stay on my trip to Ischia Di Castro. Anna is warm and hospitable, making you feel at home right away. She gladly advised me on all the things the area has to offer ( which is a lot). The place is tastefully and artistically renovated, maintaining it's original charm. What a pleasure it was to sip my morning coffee in the lovely kitchen with it's flower- filled balcony overlooking the valley. So quintessentially Italian! Even on a warm day it stayed comfortably cool here. I slept really well. It was clean and had all of the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. I wish I had planned to stay for longer as It was hard to leave this delightful place. I will definitely be back!
