We had a great week at the house, which had everything we needed. Very relaxing, so good to be in a spot close to the beach for walking and away from busy streets. And thank you John for being very helpful with our stay.
We were so pleased to discover the cabin at Marcus Beach. Unique and individual, it was just as we like our holiday accommodation to be - a simple beach cabin but well furnished with comfortable beds and generally very well equipped.
In an area where one can sometimes feel a little overwhelmed by large houses huddled side by side, the cabin is set back off the road with a lot of space all around it and best of all, although it was one block behind the beach, we had a great view of the sea through the trees as the block in front has not yet been build on!
Only 2 mins walk from the beach meant we could pop out to enjoy the sand and sea at any time. Long beach walks to Perigian Beach for coffee and short drives to Noosa were also fun.
John and his wife met us on arrival and gave us some handy tips about the area but then left us to our own devices. He was a generous and accommodating host and nothing was too much trouble.
We will definitely be back!
A beautiful home and perfect location! We loved being able to walk to the beach, and drive to town really easily, too.
We really enjoyed our stay at Johns place. It felt very much like a holiday in our wooden beach home. It's a great base to explore the coast and all the markets and attractions inland. Although it was cool at night we we kept warm at home. John was friendly and made us welcome. Just right for our family holiday in the Sunshine Coast.
Our host met us in person and made us feel very welcome. The description of the listing was very accurate. This listing is situated in a lovely environment.
We did not get to meet john unfortunately but he was always alvaikable to answer any queries we had. His log cabin was wonderful, very cosy and everything we needed.
My husband loved all the different birds and I loved the beach even though the sea was quite wild when we visited. The beach walks were lovely. John gave us lots of information on what to see and do, my friend went fishing on the Noosa River and had a wonderful time.
John's homely log cabin was so comfortable and neat. The renovated and modern bathroom is a real treat and the shower roomy and refreshing. The generous yard certainly contributed to the sense of spaciousness that pervaded and it was fantastic to sit at the outdoor setting a n the backyard eating breakfast with the myriad birds. The kitchen has everything you need to cook up a storm and John even laid on the basics for our arrival like fresh bread, butter, milk and a couple of refreshing coldies to wash down the dust of our journey. While we didn't get to meet John personally, he was a fabulous host with excellent communication and a totally helpful and generous nature. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend John or his lovely comfortable cabin to ANYONE! Thanks again John!
