John's homely log cabin was so comfortable and neat. The renovated and modern bathroom is a real treat and the shower roomy and refreshing. The generous yard certainly contributed to the sense of spaciousness that pervaded and it was fantastic to sit at the outdoor setting a n the backyard eating breakfast with the myriad birds. The kitchen has everything you need to cook up a storm and John even laid on the basics for our arrival like fresh bread, butter, milk and a couple of refreshing coldies to wash down the dust of our journey. While we didn't get to meet John personally, he was a fabulous host with excellent communication and a totally helpful and generous nature. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend John or his lovely comfortable cabin to ANYONE! Thanks again John!
My partner and I were greeted by John on our arrival. We were very surprised and happy to arrive at the beach house. It was very comfortable and had all the necessities and then some. The yard whole house and yard is spacious and in a very nice (and quiet neighbourhood).
My partner and I would definitely stay here again.
Excellent week away here in this house, exactly as described in the listing. Nestled away in the quiet Marcus beach area, a short drive to shops near by, over the dunes from the beach. John was an excellent host, prompt communication, very friendly. Would recommend to family/friends!
John was quick to respond to emails and although he was unable to meet us in person, we found everything we needed (it was all there).
John was a great host his communication was excellent. John went out of his way to correct a calendar issue with Airbnb. John's place was as described and a great place to stay. The main bed was super comfortable. The location was great to just relax at the beach and not far from noosa and coolum in the car. We would definitely come back to stay at johns beach house.
Thank you for your comments; all gratefully received.
If I had been aware Oscar was a little fella, I'd have pointed out the fence palings we leave on the southern side of the house, one purpose of which is to place under the gate. maybe next time.
We stayed at John's beach house for a week with our in-laws who were visiting Australia for the first time. Everyone enjoyed the holiday, the roomy and confortable house but mostly its surroundings. A large backyard for that summer BBQ and the frontyard to relax, enjoying the view of the ocean and the breeze to soothe the hot nights we experienced. Marcus beach is a short 5mns walk. John was always very prompt with answering to our queries. We definitely recommend his house for anyone who look for a relaxing holiday.
The beach house is located in a perfect spot; you can see and hear the ocean from the house. It's well equipped, very comfortable and tidy. The street is very quiet. John is lovely and easy to contact. We loved our stay and will definitely be back.
I and my wife Jan are semi-retired and reside in our home town of Brisbane.
We married in 1973, parenting two children who - at present - have one child each.
Our lives have been very blessed.
