Interaction with Guests
We live on the middle floor but we will be sharing the kitchen with you, which is on the ground floor. But we're out most of the day during the week, and in most of the day during the weekend. We're always accessible by e-mail or phone if you did have any questions.
Nestling in the heart of Kent, Ashford is one of the country's fastest growing towns in England, with journey times from London by rail now less than 40 minutes and Europe's cities within hours via Eurostar, Ashford still manages to retain its rural appeal. From its early days as a farming and market town (mentioned in the doomsday book) and railway works roots, Ashford is evolving to meet the needs of tomorrow. So whether you're planning a short visit or family trip, make the most of what Ashford has to offer.
The house is located in the middle of Ashford, approximately 10-15 minutes by foot away from the main railway station, Ashford International, which takes you into East London (Stratford Intl) in 30 minutes and Central London (St Pancras Intl) in 37 minutes. Ashford International Station also serves the Eurostar into Continental Europe.
The house is just a few minutes away from Junction 9 on the M20, which takes you straight to the Eurotunnel entrance on Junction 11A of the M20. Just a little further is Dover Port where you can get ferries into Europe.
It is just a five minute walk away from Ashford Town Centre, where you can enjoy a typical English rural high street. Buses are available in town and closer to the house with routes across Kent and East Sussex.

Kitchen opening hours are between six in the morning to eleven at night. Please ask in advance if you need to use the kitchen outside these times.
Jandi and Trevor are wonderful hosts. My husband the two boys and I loved this house. In a few minutes we felt at home. So much space for us. And we could use the kitchen in the morning and help ourselves.
Any time we would come again.
Had a fabulous stay with Jandi & Trevor. In Ashford to be close to William Harvey Hospital In order to visit my sick brother there.
I was made to feel very at home in their lovely house, and the accommodation is a wonderful, light 'airy' refuge.
House was impeccable, room set up with a kettle and tea which was a plus, private upstairs area felt very comfortable. Hosts are friendly snd helpful, a great find.
The three of us had a wonderful stay at Jandi's place. Very clean, very well kept, with great privacy on the top floor. All communication was excellent and clear. Great kitchen facilities to take a nice breakfast on the groundfloor. Located in a nice street.
My wife, 2 daughters and I had the whole top floor to ourselves, comprising of 2 double bedrooms and a small shower room.
Everywhere was very clean and Jandi and Trevor were very hospitable - even going to the lengths of checking the current situation for Eurotunnel journey!
Simple breakfast provided, which we helped ourselves to.
We had booked the two rooms in Jandis house and she was very friendly to us. After a very warm welcome she showed us our rooms, which were very clean and had a nice atmosphere.
She had even prepared a map from Ashford for us, where she had marked some restaurants and stores.
She was very kind, caring and very helpful.
The breakfast was really good and there were a lot of different things to eat.
