Top floor of the house is for your private use, and the kitchen on the ground is shared with us.
Interaction with Guests
We live on the middle floor but we will be sharing the kitchen with you, which is on the ground floor. But we're out most of the day during the week, and in most of the day during the weekend. We're always accessible by e-mail or phone if you did have any questions.
Nestling in the heart of Kent, Ashford is one of the country's fastest growing towns in England, with journey times from London by rail now less than 40 minutes and Europe's cities within hours via Eurostar, Ashford still manages to retain its rural appeal. From its early days as a farming and market town (mentioned in the doomsday book) and railway works roots, Ashford is evolving to meet the needs of tomorrow. So whether you're planning a short visit or family trip, make the most of what Ashford has to offer.
The house is located in the middle of Ashford, approximately 10-15 minutes by foot away from the main railway station, Ashford International, which takes you into East London (Stratford Intl) in 30 minutes and Central London (St Pancras Intl) in 37 minutes. Ashford International Station also serves the Eurostar into Continental Europe.
The house is just a few minutes away from Junction 9 on the M20, which takes you straight to the Eurotunnel entrance on Junction 11A of the M20. Just a little further is Dover Port where you can get ferries into Europe.
It is just a five minute walk away from Ashford Town Centre, where you can enjoy a typical English rural high street. Buses are available in town and closer to the house with routes across Kent and East Sussex.
Other Things to Note
Please note, if you intend to use both beds/rooms, there is a minimum charge, which is equivalent to 3 people staying.
No Smoking, no shoes above ground floor.
Please respect our property and furniture.
An excellent stay in this charming home. Jandi and Trevor are very engaging and welcoming and the accommodation is comfortable and very well presented. Highly recommended.
Jandi had the most perfect layout for a bnb.
The bed was especially comfortable and the hosts were friendly and informative.
This was one of our nicer stays in our 6 weeks in England.
Highly recommend this location

Jandi and Trevor were wonderful hosts. Their home is beautiful and clean. I would recommend staying here.
Thank you so much for having me!
I greatly enjoyed my stay withJandi and Trevor in their cozy, welcoming and quiet home.
We had a few friendly and interesting chats, and on various occasions, I was able to appreciate how helpful and thoughtful my hosts were.
It's an address I would definitely recommend !
Really lovely hosts, made me welcome with a nice cup of tea after a long trip! House lovely and really well located for central Ashford and the station, Channel Tunnel, Canterbury etc. Travelling alone Jandi made me feel at home and was full of great advice. A really good address!
Very warm greeting: felt like old friends already. Detailed and conscientious tour of facilities, breakfast stuff, tv operator etc. There was a local map in the room with pages of local things to do or visit in or around Ashford. The location was easy to find and WONDERFULLY quiet, even though near the centre of Ashford (& to the Ashford International station, which was our jumping off point the following day). The décor is immaculate throughout and all the bedroom facilities were perfect. We will definitely try to stay there again whenever travelling early-ish on Eurostar from Ashford. Our recommendation comes with absolutely no "..but"s.. whatsoever.
