It is a fully renewed 40 sqm 2-level studio on the first floor of an ancient building in the heart of Trastevere, one of the most characteristic and oldest areas in the city centre of Rome.
At the lower level you will find a livingroom with a wide sofa-bed and the modern fully equipped kitchen, with gas fires and oven. The bathroom with shower box is very full of light. At the upper level there is a double bed and a large closet.
In the Trastevere neighborhood (loved by both locals and tourists) you will find medieval streets and dwellings full of shops, restaurants and bars. Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Campo di Fiori, Circus Maximus and Piazza Venezia are all about 15 minutes walk away. Colosseum and Vatican are about 25 minutes walk away.
WIFI: 3G portable modem (you can take it out of the apartment and have a wifi spot around the city)
No smoking allowed inside the apartment.

The appartment looks like in the pictures and has everything needed for a short vacance a roma. The best thing is its location. It is in the middle of trastevere (about 200m from the church santa maria di trastevere) but since it is in a little sidestreet it is absolutely quiet. The hand over of the key was without any problem and Alessandro was really friendly and provided us with all the needed information. We would absolutely recommend the appartment.
The apartment caters comfortably for a couple. The location of the apartment is fantastic. It located in a great area that has plenty of restaurants and is lovely to walk around during the day and at night time.
Lovely, homey spot, with everything you need provided. Convenient for walking to all the major sites.
L appartement est agréable, mais un peu sombre. L accueil était simple et efficace. Plus que l appartement, le quartier est vraiment top. Je vous le recommande même pour 2 jours, comme je l ai fait.
We stayed in Jane's apartment for 4 nights and liked the place a lot. Jane was responsive to messages and emails and was flexible on check-in, allowing us to drop our bags early.
The apartment was extremely clean and the location is perfect - in the middle of bustling Trastevere but at the quiet end of the street. The portable modem provided was really useful too.
The description of the apartment was accurate although the photos are well taken and flatter its size a little - it is really only one large room with a small additional bathroom and a mezzanine level for the bedroom. Because it is so compact, the upstairs ceiling is low and you need to be careful not to bang your head - but this is a small issue.
We would definitely stay here again.
This apartment is in a super location. You walk out the door and there are resturants and bars on the doorstep. You can walk to all the major sites. The apartment is very small, but we were 4 people there and it was fine. You don't spend much time inside anyway. Beds were comfy. The only problems I had really were that the wifi didn't really work and the shower wasn't draining properly, but other than that it was a faultless stay.
A great place for a couple to be based while exploring Rome. As noted the apartment is small with a
Loft type bedroom which may not suit someone who is very tall, but for the average guy/girl, like us, it is more than fine. The best part is how quiet it is while being next door to the buzzing centres of Trastevere, adjacent to Piazza Di Santa Maria. Tips: visit the very old church on the Piazza, try restaurants off the main Piazza (eg: Meridianale and Impiccetta in Via del Fieraroli, just outside front door), shop at the supermarket in Via Natale del Grande (just down the road) to cook at home, and grab a cheap morning coffee plus croissant opposite the supermarket. In summary nice apartment, with friendly hosts, in a central location away from the touristy side of the river. I would not hesitate on staying again.
