Anna was amazingly nice to us, she waited at the station more than an hour, on Christmas Day! The place is nice and clean, in the middle of one of the greatest village of the Cinque Terre: Vernazza! Very nice experience!
Anna met us at the station with a warm hug and led us up the 70 odd stairs to our apartment on the top floor, with the balcony. The rooms were spotless, with white fluffy towels, soap and wonderful bed linen also. Anna called in to replenish fresh towels on the second day and tidy generally. We bought a few breakfast things to have in the flat - that had a jug for making a cuppa and a fridge for the milk and wine etc. Right in the heart of the action of Vernazza, it was a great place to stay. Quiet and safe. thanks Anna for a lovely time.
We didn't meet Anna but her son, Luca, met us at the station when our train arrived and walked us to our room. Very great location, comfortable bed and everything was clean. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you!
Anna is a great host and her charming rooms are just a minutes walk from the station and the sea. It's a wonderful value for money place, clean and functional, and the only thing that wasn't absolutely perfect was the bed, but everything else made up for that.
My husband and I enjoyed staying in Anna's apartment. She was very helpful in arranging to have someone meet us at the train station to show us the way to the room. It is in a great location, close to the main street through town but not on the main square (which I thought could be too noisy on weekends). It was clean and cute, with a good shower and comfortable bed. We had the room with a balcony which was nice but honestly we didn't use it much. We were out and about more often. We would stay here again if we return to Vernazza!
Warm and friendly host met us at the train station. Room was in a good location. The AirBnB listing has it as a bed and breakfast, there is no breakfast provided and it is not a BnB in a traditional sense. The bed was two singles which sagged in the middle due to old springs. I would suggest a full sized new mattress and frame to make the room comfortable. A reasonable option for those mostly wanting a place to dip in and out of between hikes.
Anna's place in Vernazza was just amazing. Walk up the path on the route to Monterosso and you happen onto Nona's house. Anna met us at that train station and walked us to her place. It is a bit of a walk with the suitcases but nothing too difficult. The room is small but very clean and comfortable. The shower is large and the water warm. 2 mins out the door and there are shops, restaurants, swimming. At night enjoy a glass of wine in one of the restaurants chatting with the locals. You are on the foot path to Monterosso once you step out the door so make sure that you do the walk. It is only about 1,5 hours or 2 hours if you take you time and enjoy the amazing views. The other direction is Corniglia and it is also about 1.5 to 2 hours but one of the best experiences I have had. Cinque Terre was the most wonderful place I visited in Italy. Make sure you enjoy some of the fabulous food of Liguria. It has its own unique flavour and of course make sure you have some Pesto!
Anna was the perfect host. Meeting us at the train was very thoughtful and helpful. The room was immaculate, bright and cheerful and had a delightful little balcony. Everything in Vernazza is up winding stairs which adds to the charm and uniqueness of the town. Anna was very responsive and patient with my inability to speak Italian. Cinque Terra was the operfect place to begin our month in Italy and celebrate our 50th anniversary. Thanks Anna!
My husband and I had an amazing stay! Anna met us at the train station and took us to our beautiful room. We stayed in room #1. It was clean, comfortable and a few steps from the main square. Thank you Anna! We will definitely stay here again!
We didn't stay at this property because we were in Vernazza dfor only one-night but that didn't stop Anna! She booked us a room in another apartment in Vernazza and is was BEAUTIFUL. I was a little worried that we weren't 100% sure on the room but it worked out perfectly. Anna (and her son, who greeted us) wanted to make sure we were taken care of.
Very friendly family.
