Loft in Palermo Hollywood.Pool V

Apartment - Entire home/apt · Paraguay, Buenos Aires, Capital Federal, Argentina

The Space

Modern loft on the eighth floor of a recently constructed building. Decorated with a minimalistic style and inviting furniture. The apartment has two-story, floor to ceiling windows.

These windows let in lots of light and offer a magnificent view of the green gardens below.

There are a large swimming pool and a jacuzzi among the amenities that can also be seen from the apartment. It is conveniently located in the Palermo Hollywood neighborhood known for its fine restaurants and cafes as well as its shopping, also walking distance from Las Cañitas district. One block away from Santa Fe Avenue , the metro line D. (Carranza) and the train station (Carranza). Metro is the best and fastest way to travel around the city, you can reach the city centre, San Telmo and Recoleta with this line.
On the first floor there are a living room with a sofa bed, an open american style kitchen, and a balcony with chairs and table where one can enjoy breakfast or even a meal.

On its second floor a bedroom, a closet and a complete bathroom that also gets good light. The loft has excellent equipment: LCD TV screen, high speed wi-fi, AC system, fridge, freezer, phone, cable TV including foreign channels in English .

The building has 24 hour security, laundry, gym, sauna, an open grill space on the terrace and two swimming pools in the gardens.

The apartment is located in Palermo, more precisely in Palermo Hollywood, which got its modern nickname after some of the major TV and radio studios moved there but is best known for its nightlife, which includes some of the best restaurants, bar and clubs in the city. Another sub-area of Palermo – Palermo Soho – is very near the apartment, just crossing Av. Juan B. Justo and it is the fashion epicenter of BA.
Palermo is a quiet, mostly residential neighborhood. There are no much offices apart from the design and software firms that are principally located in the area. It is also the area for modern and stylist furniture stores.
It’s a zone with a lot of old, Spanish-style architecture, more than other areas of the city. The combination of low houses, wide streets and trees lends it a nice atmosphere.
Security is not an issue in Palermo, as it is not in most of the neighborhoods you are probably going to visit (Palermo, Recoleta, Puerto Madero, San Telmo). You are going to be able to walk around at every hour of the day.

  • We stayed at this loft for a week. Location is superb. Less than 5 mins walk to metro and about same distance to a laundry in the other direction, which we found most useful - $3.50 for a small load (3 pairs of jeans and several t-shirts). Marcos and Maxi are the nicest people, very helpful and very polite. The loft is in a very quite neighborhood, with the best restaurants in town. Highly recommend!

  • We had a great stay in BA. The loft was nice and located right next to a train stop. Jorge, the doorman, was extremely nice and helpful. As were Marcos and Maximillion, who coordinated our stay. Balcony was ok, but not much of a view. Walls were a little thin, but our neighbors were fairly quiet, fortunately. Pool was on the first level and surrounded by buildings and trees. Not much sun. Overall, a good place - as advertised. Thanks!

    Response from Marcos:

Sun by the pool depends on the time of the year, as Brian stayed at the end of the summer, you miss the sun around 3PM. From December through February you get sun until from early morning until around 5pm

  • Very convenient location right next to the subway. Quiet and safe neighborhood with plenty of nice restaurants and cafés. Shopping district Palermo Soho is a comfortable 20 minute walk away. The apartment has a lot of light, is equipped with all basic things you need to live. It's clean, but a new paint job might help. The only annoyance might be the barking dogs from the neighbor left alone all day, the doors are certainly not soundproof. Marcos is an excellent host, very professional, quick to respond to any question or request and flexible with extending your stay.

  • Marcos was a terrific host. Easy going, accessible, and fair. The apartment was magnificent, clean, bright, airy, and cozy. Perfect for those who want to feel apart of the city as opposed to be a pedestrian tourist. Near the metro and in an area with super cute cafes. Palermo Hollywood is not as "cute" as Palermo Soho, but it definitely gets the job done and is walking distance to Soho. Recommended.
