A fun and funky one bedroom flat in a 100 year old Edwardian in the heart of San Francisco. Only 1.5 miles straight over the hill down into the Marina neighborhood and Chrissy Field. An easy walk or bike ride! Excellent for Americas Cup viewing!
Teeny tiny cozy quiet bedroom. Wake up to the sound of birds chirping.
Private living room can accommodate a few extra guests either on the aerobed, couch and window seat all of which are quite comfortable for sleeping,
Very walkable with easy access to a handful of great neighborhoods offering a plethora of restaurants and shops (Divisadero, NOPA, Laurel Heights, the Haight, Fillmore, Japantown...).
There are also four cross-town bus routes within 3 blocks of our home which makes it easy to get further afield.
We would be happy to share our favorite places with you and help you get around.
Wireless internet is available.
We have a very cute and friendly indoor/outdoor cat named Boo. If you rent the full flat this means we are out of town and we would appreciate if you would feed the cat and let him in and out...
Murphy & Emily are very kind host. She answered all my query before the trip and also give useful advice. Their house is just as what you see on the photo, cozy and neat. We cooked for ourselves at their well equipped kitchen and enjoy it very much! It's very comfortable for a family of 4~5. Their is a big supermarket around, it's also very convenient to get to their if you don't drive as lots of public transportation near by. Their lovely cat - Boo will make your trip more joyful. Highly recommended for sue.
Great place to stay, easy enough for city access, apartment completely set up for visiting guests and good instructions for use of everything while the hosts were away.
Very friendly neighbour to help out downstairs also.
Highly recommend using this property for a stay in San Fran if you would like to come back to a homely house after being out for the day/night
It's a very nice apartment to stay, there was everything we needed and good instructions for use of everything. Downtown and other places are easily reachable by bus. We had a great time there!

A group of friends stayed at Murphy's charming flat for Outside Lands and had a fantastic experience. Conveniently located a few blocks form Trader Joe's and a short walk to Golden Gate Park. A very quite location, highly recommended, they were very easy going and very accommodating.
We loved the house! It's so cozy, clean, stylish and has an atmosphere of real San Cisco;) The neighborhood is really great. Emily met us when we came and gave us all necessary information (public trans, nice places to see, cool places to eat, maps etc.) We enjoyed our stay much.
I can definitely say it's the best place to stay if you visit SF.
Our stay with Murphy and Emily was just superb! Murphy was there to greet us when we arrived, to show us around the house and he also gave us loads of information about our neighbourhood and the city. We could even use his and Emily's bikes to explore SF with (which is by far the best way to see the city!).The house is just great, perfectly located and looks exactly like it's adverstised. Also, Murphy is really nice guy. To sum things up: we would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting SF.
We had a really nice stay in San Francisco and was made that much better by getting to stay at Murphy Mack's lovely flat. It was clean and tasteful. The communication with our host was easy and friendly. We loved their kitty Boo and he loved us too. We did not get to meet our host as they were out of town but it was treat to stay in their beautiful flat. Sandy their neighbor was a great help as well. Thank you so much we look forward to our return.
