Private apartment above a garage in a lushly landscaped yard. Queen bed, vaulted ceilings, walk-in shower, gorgeous built-in maple cabinetry, recessed lighting, mini-kitchen including counter-height fridge, microwave, toaster oven, hotplate and coffee maker. Not a full kitchen. Gleaming cherry floors. Flat-screen TV, cable, CD/DVD, wi-fi, pool and hot tub, laundry. Koi pond with waterfall lulls you to sleep. Private parking. I have bikes for you to use to explore the waterfront or downtown. Friendly dog and two cats share the fenced triple lot. There are sitting areas for you by the pond and pool. High-end but homey, great for a romantic getaway or a business traveller. You can be close to everything but in a safe, pretty neighborhood. The neighborhood is called Old Northeast and it's the main waterfront historic district, with many houses built in the 20's and 30's, brick streets, granite curbs and mature trees. It's only 2 blocks to the waterfront from here. You can bike right downtown and see dolphins and manatees on the way. Come visit my jungle!
This apartment is behind our home so I just would request respect for our property and that of the neighbors. I live here with my two kids, age 12 and 14. We are happy to share our yard, and there's a lot of it. Drive carefully, generally behave yourselves, no nudity in the yard and no smoking please.
We had a great time at Sidney's. She was a gracious hostess, and her studio was clean, quiet, private, and well-situated. Couldn't ask for more.
Our visit at Sidney's studio was fantastic; it really was like staying in the jungle! The location was great; just a short, easy bike ride downtown where there are ample shops and restaurants and a 15 min drive to St. Pete Beach. Sidney was a great hostess and gave us lots of great ideas for things to do in the area. We spent very little time in the studio as there was so much stuff to do outside, but it was very comfortable, cozy and private. We were sad to leave!!
We enjoyed our stay at Sidney's studio. The accommodations and location were perfect for us. Very clean and the shower was wonderful! Easy walk or bike ride to the downtown. Thanks Sidney for all your recommendations!
We LOVED our two-month stay at Sidney's property!
Sidney was so gracious, welcoming, and friendly. She gave us plenty of privacy but made herself readily available for any of our questions or needs. We were even included in her Super Bowl party!
The apartment is every bit as inviting as it appears in the pictures. It is modern, updated, and very private. The property is beautifully landscaped and very tranquil. Sidney offers full use of the area, which we loved when we sat outside by the pool reading. The sound of the waterfall from the Koi pond was a wonderful way to drift off to sleep each night.
The Old Northeast itself is our favorite area in St. Petersburg. It is a lovely tree-lined neighborhood - quiet and just a few blocks walk to the waterside and close to downtown St. Pete.
Our only regret was having to leave!
We had a great time staying at Sidney's studio! It was very clean, and comfortable. She provides a folder full of information and details about the area, and directions to use the hot tub, etc.
The neighborhood is beautiful and close to downtown. We took a walk one evening and ended up on a street a long the bay just west of her home. It was gorgeous! I would definitely recommend this airbnb location to anyone visiting the area. :)
Our stay at Sidney's luxury studio apartment was wonderful! Sidney really makes things easy for the traveler, with a beautiful apartment, welcoming coffees, and concise instructions for everything from operating the hot tub and TV to the best places to eat nearby. We very much look forward to a return visit in 2015!
The flat is a private area in Sydney's property which is awesome. The flat is very clean and well organized, many advises are gathered in a book with maps and points of interests.
We didn't try the swimming pool because the weather was not good enough but we tried the hot tub!
Sydney is very kind and it's a shame we didn't managed to honor her invitation for a game night.
I recommed this place!
I'm a 45-year-old real estate investor in St. Petersburg, FL. I like traveling and having new experiences. I played ultimate frisbee for many years, and now I play a lot of tennis. I'm into good food and drinks and art and shops and music and books. My mother told me: If it's going to be funny later, it might as well be funny now
