About this listing
Private apartment above a garage in a lushly landscaped yard. Queen bed, vaulted ceilings, walk-in shower, gorgeous built-in maple cabinetry, recessed lighting, mini-kitchen including counter-height fridge, microwave, toaster oven, hotplate and coffee maker. Not a full kitchen. Gleaming cherry floors. Flat-screen TV, cable, CD/DVD, wi-fi, pool and hot tub, laundry. Koi pond with waterfall lulls you to sleep. Private parking. I have bikes for you to use to explore the waterfront or downtown. Friendly dog and two cats share the fenced triple lot. There are sitting areas for you by the pond and pool. High-end but homey, great for a romantic getaway or a business traveller. You can be close to everything but in a safe, pretty neighborhood. The neighborhood is called Old Northeast and it's the main waterfront historic district, with many houses built in the 20's and 30's, brick streets, granite curbs and mature trees. It's only 2 blocks to the waterfront from here. You can bike right downtown and see dolphins and manatees on the way. Come visit my jungle!
This apartment is behind our home so I just would request respect for our property and that of the neighbors. I live here with my two kids, age 12 and 14. We are happy to share our yard, and there's a lot of it. Drive carefully, generally behave yourselves, no nudity in the yard and no smoking please.
Sidney's studio is beautiful! It really felt like we were staying in a jungle. (The shower is divine!). It was a short walk to the water with a nice area for running / cycling. Sidney is quick to respond to text messages, and when we asked for a last minute dinner suggestion in the area, her idea was perfect. She had also left detailed notes about the area including restaurant and beach recommendations which we used to plan our stay. We had a great time!
Sidney's studio was the perfect place for me during my stay in St Petersburg. She welcomed me upon arrival with her sweet dog Ringo and was available with a quick text response to any questions. The yard was just beautiful and I wished I had more time to spend there. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well all four nights. There was everything I needed to make my breakfast each morning and only a short walk to Trader Joes and Fresh Market for groceries. It was very clean, light and spacious in a lovely quiet neighborhood. Thanks Sidney - if I am ever in St Petersburg again this is where I will stay!
Great place to stay. The studio was clean, needy and very tidy, the garden is a real jungle as described by Sidney and it really gives you a sight of beautiful and exotic Florida. Sidney is really sweet. We would recommand the place to anyone passing by.
We had a lovely stay at Sidney's place! Clean, comfortable, and in a beautiful setting.
Our stay was great. Love the shower, the bikes and the spacious, clean room. Sidney is a great host. She was very quick to response to our questions. Just wish we could stay longer. Definitely will stay there again.
We had a wonderful stay at Sidney's place! We rented the place as it was in close proximity to a place I needed to go for work during the weekend. The studio had everything we needed and then some (washer and dryer was really great to be able to use after a couple of days of getting dirty while at work.) The backyard was spectacular and a gardener's paradise! We were seconds away from the heart of St. Petersburg and Sidney did a wonderful job of putting together a packet of restaurants, places to go, sightseeing locales and left instructions for how to work the tv, internet, and hot tub! While we only met Sidney at the very end of our stay (who was really friendly), she was always a quick call/text away if we needed anything or had questions. I wish our stay could have been longer! Thanks Sidney for a wonderful stay!
Was a great 4 night stay in this studio, very peaceful and good location. Shame did not get to meet Sidney, but maybe next time.
