Carmela and her husband were wonderful hosts, very kind and welcoming. Nothing was a bother! Nocelle is quite far from Positano on foot so be prepared to walk A LOT of steps! Totally worth it though as it was a relief to get back there after a day in the crazy business of Positano. There is a bus service which runs every hour from Nocelle to Positano too if you fancy a break from all the walking! The B&B is homely and clean and the views from the room and balcony are incredible. Would recommend to anyone visiting Positano!

This is a lovely place that is tucked away from the craziness of Positano, up in the smaller village of Nocelle. It is nice and quiet and the views are amazing. There is a bus that comes every hour that goes to Positano, so it's easy to go to and from the city. Just be aware that the buses going back to Nocelle often fill up quickly. Also, be prepared for a work out! There are a good amount of stairs between the B&B and the bus stop. My favorite part of my stay was waking up and going out to the terrace for breakfast in the mornings. Fresh homemade cappuccino while marveling at the view- I will miss those mornings! Carmela was so nice and helped us with any questions we had about the area. I highly recommend this place!

The views from this place are simply stunning!! Much better views of positano due to the elevation. Breakfast is also generous. It's a LOT of steps (or a 30 minute bus ride) to get to town though. If doing the path of the gods (which is amazing and this bnb is very well located for), we'd suggest travelling to bomenaro first (via ferry to amafi and then bus) and walking back to the bnb. We did it in the other direction and had an extremely long wait for a bus from bomenaro (4 hours)...had we known it would be this long we'd have walked back.

Overall our stay was great, the view from the villa was absolutely amazing, hosts were great and so was the coffee!! A couple of tips / points: - bus from Positano takes about 30-40 mins (easy to navigate) or you can hike up from Arienzo, however this takes about 1 hour and is a steep up hill. We did this with our packs - wouldn't recommend doing this - but good walk if you want some fitness - fantastic restaurant just around the corner - good food and view - room was quite warm but we were there in the middle of summer

I cannot recommend this place enough. Our stay here was positively perfect and we were so sad to leave. If you want to visit Positano, I'd strongly encourage you to look into staying in Nocelle at this wonderful BnB instead. You can easily catch the bus into town when you want to go (for less than 2 euros per person) while still having a peaceful retreat. However, it's so tranquil and relaxing that we were never in a hurry to rejoin the bustle of Positano. Carmela and Salvatore are a wonderfully sweet couple and everything about their BnB is so charming. The room, including our private patio, was extremely clean. The shower was fantastic. The view of the Amalfi Coast is breathtaking and unbeatable. There was a lightning storm one night during our stay and even that was beautiful! I could go on and on but long story short, this is a great place to stay. We can't wait to go back.

Villa de Quercia was a beautiful view. The main thing we struggled with was communication with the hosts and having limited insight into information about our stay and any pointers we may have needed. We could have bought tickets from a mini mart/tobacco shop for the bus but we had to figure it and its price etc separately and the wifi was only able to be reached in the common area and even there it was a very weak connection. The hosts seemed to be frustrated about the smallest of situations and didn't seem to go above and beyond for their guests. There was no air conditioning and the beds were not comfortable.
