Nestled along the quaint house lined Main Street of Columbiana sits this charming 2 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom Colonial inspired unit. Built in 1836, it is the oldest house in the city, and originally served as the office and home of Dr. George Metzger. The lot is one of the original plots of land laid out by Columbiana founder Joshua Dixon.

The main floor has a spacious kitchen area that includes a breakfast nook and tile countertops. Appliances include a refrigerator, stove, coffee maker and microwave.

It also includes a dining area, the living room and the full bath. Large windows lookout over the activity of Main Street.

The second floor boasts two spacious bedrooms, both housing queen sized beds. There is an open area with a day bed, and the half bath.

The space is finished with an eclectic mix of antique furniture and original home details, including some original exposed brick and hardwood floors.

The home includes a large shared back yard and off street parking. This is one of two units in this home.

Other things to note
This property is just steps away from the roundabout, where you will find a variety of unique antique and consignment shops, Generations Coffee, Hogans Bakery, and the Main Street Theater, which hosts a variety of shows and events throughout the year.

Birdfish Brewing Company is a short walk down the hill. It offers a variety of craft beer, weekly live music events and food trucks seven days a week. It also includes a large population of popular pinball machines and both indoor and outdoor seating in a family friendly environment.

Columbiana is also known for the Street Fair, Chalk on Main, First Fridays, car shows and Firestone Park. The park boasts a community swimming pool, 9 hole disc golf course, pavilions and sporting fields.

A quick car ride will take you to The Links at Firestone Farms golf course. The course is partially built within Firestone Farms community, which includes a wide variety of dining and entertainment options and is just minutes south of The Vineyards at Pine Lake.

Shaker Woods boasts summer and fall craft festival weekends and Garwood Arena hosts weekly activities including a wide variety of rodeo and youth rodeo events. Both are just a short car ride away.
