  • The house is located in a good and safe area, and a nice local market just near the house. The transports are very convenient. The 75 bus can bring you to the city center to visit the popular hot spots (Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, Colosseum, Basilica DI Santa Maria Maggiore, Central station……), and one stop by train to Vatican City.
Cristina’s father is a friendly Italian grandpa, speaking fluent English. He lives near the house, so if you had any question about the house or your trip, you can find him directly. He will give you nice answers and suggestions.

  • Apartamento acogedor pero muy adecuado para nuestra corta estancia de 4 noches en Roma.
Trato correcto de parte de Cristina y de su padre que nos enseno el apartamento, explicando todo lo necesario.

  • we stayed in this flat for almost one week and we had there a great experience. The flat is cozy and furnished with all you need. Cristina'a father is very helpful and nice. it's well located and you can find around many small shops (supermarket, café, bakery, pizzeria...). so any bad surprises. And we really appreciated the small garden of the flat (having coffee outside when the sun was shining!).

  • My girlfriend and I spent five days at Cristina's appartment. We were greeted by his father, a very friendly and helpful man who showed us the house. The house is super cozy and very well equipped, we loved every day that we spent there. There are restaurants and supermarkets nearby and access to trains and buses is very easy. We strongly recommend the apartment in Rome.

  • I was coming to Rome to do some research at the American Academy for ten days, and this apartment could not have been more perfect! Getting to the apartment is super easy by regional train, and Cristina's directions were perfect. The location is ideal: close to the Janiculum, an easy hike down to Trastevere, and quick access to the 75 and 44 bus lines, which will take you down to the city center. There is a fresh market on the street in front of the apartment building six days a week, where you can purchase fresh fruits, vegetables, cheese, and meat. There is also a supermarket only blocks away. The apartment itself is well-appointed: the full kitchen is fully stocked with all the implements you would need for cooking, including pots and pans, a full (gas) stove and oven, cutlery and dishes, and even a few basic ingredients like olive oil and salt. There is a large bathroom with a large (for Rome standards) shower, which has either a detachable shower head or more traditional overhead stream. Water pressure is good, water heat is not a problem. There is wifi in the apartment, and I never had any problems with it. The only time I did have an issue with the apartment (water heater got turned off), Cristina's father came down and fixed it promptly. This apartment is perfect for one or two people; there is only one bed, and the mattress is really the only "weakness" of the apartment, though I would be hard-pressed to complain about it all. I had a terrific experience and plan on staying here for all of my future trips to Rome!

  • Cristina and her father were easy to interact with and gave useful information. The flat is comfortable and well-located in a friendly neighborhood with a nice produce and cheese market. There is easy bus and walking access to the rest of the city. A good experience.

  • Cristina`s father gave us the keys and explained everything we need to know for our stay. The place is big and well located, but not walking distance of most attractions in the city. Still you can walk, if you are up to go through hills and hills. Charming and safe neighborhood, and everything went really well during our stay. We recommend the apartment to everyone who wants to experience a few days in a place outside your regular tourist area.

Ci tornero' sicuramente.

  • My daughter and I stayed at Cristina's place from Dec 24 - 28, 2013. It was perfect! The apartment had everything, was very cozy and felt like home. We didn't meet Cristina, but her father was an absolute joy and so sweet. We needed for nothing. The apartment is located in a neighborhood just across the river from Rome's city center up near Villa Pamphili. The views were breath taking. The neighborhood shops and restaurants really give you the flavor of being part of an Italian community. We were a short bus ride or cab ride from City Center. It was quiet and safe. I will definitely stay here again, wonderful experience.

  • This was our first Airbnb experience and Cristina (and her father) made it a very memorable one! The place is a bit separate from the rest of the building with its own private balcony. The apartment itself was very nice and well maintained. It had lots of useful little things and the kitchen was quite sufficient for making meals. Cristina's replies to my queries were very prompt and detailed prior to our arrival. Her father explained everything to us even though we arrived quite late at night and was very friendly (he gave us a bottle of milk to make tea as no shops were open that late :) ). There is a fresh vegetable market right outside the house so it was great seeing all this fresh produce (and if you are good at cooking them, go ahead!) and there were 3 restaurants close by (the closest 1 was extremely popular with the locals). The only thing to keep in mind is that the total time from the house to the city center takes around 40-45 mins taking into account the walk to the stop (3 mins), wait for the bus (upto 15 mins) and the normal time in traffic (around 25 - 30 mins). So take that into account when you are planning the day. Also, inform Cristina about your travel plans so she can guide you correctly - we had to catch an Italo train to Roma Ostiense and she told us a nearby station from where we could catch a train directly to there, saving us a lot of time and hassle. Overall, we loved our stay and would gladly stay here again.

About
Hello, I love sking and hiking also go to the sea. my hobbies are to go "saturday night" dancing. When I' ll have some time, I will go travelling, and muddle with new cultures and people. Music ist one of my strongest interests, because it livens my emotions. Other interests: being in nature, agriculture, foodproduction, having a beer - or two, good conversations, I never reject a good party, cooking, technology, sustainability, repairing things,... work always seems to fall on me. that is to say that I have too much work. Personal developement is hard work ;). Use your brain to think - but use your heart to decide the important things. Never take yourself too serious and don´t forget to laugh about yourself at least as much as you laugh about others. Laughing and joking is very healthy for the soul and I always enjoy people with a similar sense of humor, e.g. Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy!|!
