they respond quick and well. hotel amenities.
i couldnt find a heater in this room.
It was a cold night.
This was a motel. Our room was sandwiched between 2 rooms with people who made noise in the early morning. I did not get to sleep. Had I known it was a motel I would not have opted to sign up to stay there.
Myself and two other gals were kayaking around the lake and this lodging was affortable, clean, safe and fairly newly painted and decorated inside. I was a little concerned approaching from the outside as the exterior needs some maintence. The hotel is located at the east end of town but it is a delightful walk through town with lots of restuarants to choose from. It's on the far side of the main drag from the lake but an easy walk down to the water.
This is a lovely inn on the shore of lake Tahoe. The place was neat and clean and the manager very friendly. Needless to say, lake Tahoe is stunning. Would recommend!
I enjoyed my stay very much. It is a very practical location right on the lake and a short walk to most amenities.
Had a really nice stay here, the room was really nice with a view across Lake Tahoe from my room. The owner was friendly and helpfully definitely recommend staying here.
Never stayed in Tahoe before so it's hard to say how the place compares. Overall we had an ok stay, easy check in and the room we stayed in was clean. The bed was a little aged and there wasn't a fitted sheet just a top sheet which didn't fit the bed right. There were a few ants in the bathroom the popped out from time to time. We skipped the breakfast so can't comment on that but perhaps overall its good value for the money you pay.
We arrived late because of a long, unexpected traffic jam. That was no problem at all.
The manager was very nice, the rooms clean and nice and warm (in Winter)!
We will come for another stay!
The host was nice enough but the property was just old and worn out. It was clean and didn't have any funny odors but it was dark and looked depressing. The cable wasn't working properly, the picture on some channels were fuzzy, and he said he would call the cable company about it but unfortunately that does help me for the one night I am there. The towels were very rough and the worst part was the water. When you were trying to adjust the hot and cold to take a "warm" shower not only did it take a while to get the right temperature but I got scalded in the shower for no apparent reason (no one flushed the toilet or turned on the sink to change the pressure etc.) And so did my 11 year old daughter, that’s when I got upset. Now it’s a safety concern. You shouldn’t have to worry about taking a shower, please. The continental breakfast was disappointing. There were waffles but I am not a big fan, doughy wheat bread for toast, margarine, 2 kinds of cereal. When I walked in to see what there was, a man was waiting for his waffle (made one at a time). He had an apple on tray but there was no fruit in the bowl when I was in there. When I went back, there were 2 oranges in a huge bowl so it was obviously there were rationing out the fruit. Warm hardboiled egg was great. I wasn’t adventurous enough to try the coffee. Moral of the story = you get what you pay for. Lesson learned.
Clean place, easy to get around. I'd stay again.
