In a beautiful XX century elevator building a cozy, full of light, comfortable 2 bedrooms apt. First bedroom with queen size bed and second one with twin beds. Fully equipped kitchen (oven dishwasher, cooking tools...), colorful hall with couch to chill out and one bathroom with tube and washing machine.
Everything in the apt is brand new, from furniture till dishes.
The area is very quiet and very close to many tourists spots like the Royal Palace and Square, the Mole Antonelliana (you see it as you walk out the building) and steps away from the shuttle bus that will take you to the amazing Venaria Reale.
The neighborhood Regio Parco is known for the number and quality of pastries and chocolate shops that you will find in every little street. You will be steps away from the Dora river and the beautiful and peaceful river side to walk in summer days.
Linen and towels provided.
PLEASE: before booking update your profile and tell me something about you and the people you're traveling with. Thanks!
Very nice clean apartment, close (10 minute walk or Tram) to the major cultural venues of Turin. Maddalena is a wonderful host, and does everything possible to make the stay comfortable.
A nice bathroom, but no stand up shower facility although a generous bath tub.
Lovely kitchen allows self catering. Very reasonable cafe downstairs. 2 blocks away from best gelateria in Turin!
Plenty of street parking within 2 blocks of the apartment if you are driving.
Maddalena was helpful and very quick to respond to my emails. The apartment was newly renovated and adequate; though it took a little while to get used to the pink kitchen. Aside from towels and fresh sheets, Maddalena had kindly provided us with some condiments and breakfast items (e.g. jam, milk, yogurt, coffee, tea, olive oil), which was much appreciated.
The apartment is about 10-15 minutes on foot from the city's main square (Piazza Castello) and the main market square in Piazza della Republica... which made for relaxing post-dinner walk after all the gelato and aperitivo.
You get a view of Basilica di Superga from one of the bedrooms. However, it was a little noisy at night as this bedroom faced the main road - so ear plugs may be necessary for light sleepers. We enjoyed the beds, as they were adequately firm and comfortable.
