This modern studio flat is a perfect and unique place for you to stay during your visit in Oslo. With a bright, fresh look and 4.5 meters to the ceiling the atmosphere is spacious but still compact. A modern and very functional, super cozy place to stay. The comfortable Master Bed (120cm) is placed at the loft. Here is room for two people who like each other. On the ground floor there is a high quality sofa bed that can be folded into a real bed with a thick mattress (140cm) with room for two more people. The apartment can hold up to 4 people. The bathroom is bright and fresh with a shower (good water pressure and unlimited hot water) and the kitchen is fully equipped to make awesome dinners, and holds a washing machine free to use as well.
You will have the whole apartment for your self during your stay, and I´m trying to give you the hotel feeling, just slightly better. You will have access to the backyard where you can have a BBQ, just sit and relax or mingle with your temporary neighbors. They are all very nice.

Grünerløkka is the place to be.
Through Oslo, from north to south, runs the river Akerselva. Along the river there are parklands and walking trails, but also remains of Oslo’s industrial history.
On the east side of the river, in the area of Grünerløkka you will discover numerous of hip restaurants, crowded bars, little cafés and shops with only 5-10 minutes walking distance from the apartment. Grunerløkka has a youthful embossing with young people and a chill attitude, art, culture, music and other activities.
Grünerløkka is also a popular shopping district, with original design shops and many vintage and second-hand stores.
When the sun casts its shine over the various parks, they are filled with youths drinking, making barbecues, playing music or just enjoying life. Birkelunden, Sofienbergparken, Olav Ryes plass, Grünerhagen or by the river Akerselva are some nice places to sit down and enjoy life or meet locals.
There is a Minimarket just a cross the street, open from 8 o’clock until 12 pm, and a bigger Supermarket is just a 3 min walk away.
The trams that departure frequently, takes you from Oslo Central Station directly to the apartment in only 11min + 4 min walk and you are there. Bus nr 21 to Aker Brygge stops just around the corner (90 meters) and the tram stop (nr 11, 12 and 13) is as mentioned a 4 minute walk away. The tram takes you back to Oslo Centre in 11 min and also to all main sightseeing spots such as the Opera, the Royal Castle, Oslo Centre, Frogner Park and Munch Museeum etc.
In Grünerløkka you can walk everwhere and discover alot within only 5-20min Walking distance.
Other Things to Note
Please note that the stairs to the loft is quite steep and the height of the ceiling at the loft is a bit low.
I want you to feel like you are in a hotel room. But please:
- Leave your shoes in the hall.
- No smoking inside.
- Cleaning is included, but please leave the place in good condition.
The apartment looks exactly as pictured. I loved that you have your own private entrance straight from the street, directly into the apartment. The bathroom has a heated floor which is great in the winter. All personal affects are removed, so you can feel like you're staying in a hotel. Plenty of room to put your personal stuff. The other thing I really appreciate, is not needing a key. The apartment has a guest door code, so don't feel bad, if you are arriving late and your host doesn't have to wait.
There was a little hiccup (due, to a late booking), when I arrived, but Magnus was so responsive and quick to action, that it was quickly forgotten. I will definitely stay again, and Yhank you Magnus with the great communication
Our trip in Oslo was wonderful, we had a great time staying at Magnus' apartment. He was helpful and gave us all the information needed before our trip. The place is as nice as in the description. Although, i think it would be too small for more than 2 people. Easy to find and to get to it. I would just say that the mattress may be too soft for some people, but it's clearly a personal taste. Thank you again for letting us stay there, a cheaper and nice way to discover Oslo.
We enjoyed our stay. The location was really nice and quite near to the centre. Had a great nights sleep on the very comfortable mattress (despite the precarious stairway to get up there!). Had all the amenities we needed for a few nights stay and Magnus gave us a lot of information before we arrived.
Magnus was a great host and very helpful with all the questions we had! He made the experience very easy- and the apartment was in great condition in a nice area of Oslo. Just a helpful hint- if you have more than 2 people trying to stay here I would try somewhere else. It was enough for my boyfriend and I but more than just us it would have been tight. Also- if you have trouble up and down stairs may not be the place for you. Overall though it was a great and reasonably priced option in Oslo!
We had a lovely stay in this studio. It is as pretty as the photos suggest, although we did expect it to be a little bigger than it actually is. Not a problem though, if there's just the two of you.
It was cleaned well and in a nice location, which is only a few minutes by tram from Oslo railway station, that leaves every 10 min. or so. A few supermarkets are very close too. A convenient place to stay for us and well organised on Magnus' behalf.
We've stayed for a couple of days in Magnus' studio. Very nice, tidy and cosy place. Well located in a very nice neighbourhood grönerløkka. Near the city tram that get's you rond Oslo. Magnus thought of everything you need to make the stay pleasant. At forehand good information. On location we had acces to wifi, tablet, kitchen and if needed a washing machine. Really recommend this place for a stay in Oslo.
Magnus was absolutely brilliant from the very beginning to the end. The flat is lovely, very convenient and in a really nice and central area. Perfect !

I just love to travel but sometimes, like now, when I don’t have time to travel this will be a good opportunity to meet travelers coming to Oslo. After all, the most exciting thing about traveling is to meet people from different cultures and different countries. I love to be active and do many different sports. Climbing, golf, tennis and snowboarding is the once I have closets to my heart. I’m also a bit into music and manage a rock band where I also am the singer and guitarist. We play mostly covers, the song everybody knows and can sing along with.
I currently work within the IT-sector with collaboration such as CISCO videoconferencing, telephony and other collaboration solutions.
I am born (1982) and raised in Stockholm back in, Sweden and have been living in Oslo since 2010. I have bachelor in Global Business and been living abroad for studies in Austria, Graz and Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Feel free to ask me anything, I quite open minded and if you want to have any recommendations about what to do or see in Oslo I’m glad to help.
I am always happy and outgoing and I invite everybody that like to make the most out of life, peolpe that likes to enjoy the moment.
My life motto is to be happy and treat everybody with great respect.
