A stunning open plan warehouse conversion with a beautiful roof top swimming pool and BBQ area. My guest room sleeps 2 guests in a new queen bed. The apartment is located 5 minutes from a major train line or 20 minutes walk to the City!
The guest room, sleeps 2 adults in a queen sized bed.
The room is located in a modern open plan apartment with timber floors and natural light.
The room boasts a new queen sized bed with clean linen and towels, toiletries, full length wardrobe, digital television, chair, & wifi internet. The room is private, airy and opens to a balcony. There is a little street noise so if you are a light sleeper you may wish to bring earplugs! The room has recently been updated with new curtains that are not featured in the current photos.
A clean and tidy bathroom with bath and shower, toiletries are supplied and limited use of washing machine, generally 1 load per stay but please do not arrive with your dirty washing (this has happened on several occasions!)
I also supply a breakfast of eggs, cereals, toast, tea and coffee which you help yourself to.
There is a full feature gym including treadmills, step machine, machine weights and free weights – all included in the nightly charge of the room, perfect for tourist or business trips to Sydney!
The building also features a stunning rooftop swimming pool and BBQ area - after a day sightseeing relax with a swim and cook your meal on the BBQ's provided.
The apartment is located in inner city Redfern. Redfern is known for young professionals and trendy locals and offers funky cafes and pubs while being a 25 minute walk to the city or Sydney University. An excellent mix of restaurants and cafes of Surry Hills is also a short stroll away.
The apartment is a 5 minute walk to Redfern train station, just 1 stop from Central Station or walk into the heart of Sydney in 25 minutes. This train station services all lines including Bondi Junction, City Circle and North Shore Lines.

You will also be sharing the apartment with Oscar, a friendly and quiet Australian kelpie dog and a large tropical aquarium.
Please note that Oscar loves to be with my guests. When I leave for work in the morning Oscar will tap at the bedroom door. He will sleep on the floor by the side of the bed until my guests get up. If this situation is not to your liking then I kindly ask that you book elsewhere!

I have lived in Sydney for 20 years and have hosted several home stay students. I love talking about Sydney and suggesting what to see and do while you enjoy the stay!
My guests will have their own brand new fridge freezer and use of the kitchen for light meals.
My work situation has recently changed therefore I am able to offer the following for check in times.
Monday to Friday check in anytime after 2.15pm - simply advise and I will ensure I am home to welcome you.
Weekends are mostly flexible.
I hope the above times fit with your plans. There are plenty of coffee shops nearby to relax at ahead of check in.
Interaction with Guests
Having been an Airbnb host for over two years I understand the importance of guest interaction. While I am happy to chat and exchange stories and travel tips, I am equally happy to offer peace and quiet.
Oscar, my dog, also is happy to sit back and observe - he really doesn't demand much attention.
Redfern station is located 5 minutes walk from the apartment. From Redfern it is 1 stop to Central Station. All major areas of Sydney can be accessed from Redfern. Or simply walk! The City is only 25 minutes walk.
Other Things to Note
While I am happy to accept new guests to Airbnb with no previous reviews I would kindly ask that you verify a few details ahead of sending a booking request.
If I am opening up my home to you then please have uploaded a recent photograph and verified email or verified other third party web sites from the 'edit profile page' on your Airbnb dashboard.
As I host I do not see the details of your passport etc (it is held by Airbnb) it allows me to ensure the person placing the booking will be the person staying.

I would ask that you treat this home as you would your own, respect the bedroom and belongings.
This is not hostel or backpacker's accommodation. You will be sharing a beautiful home so please keep the room reasonably tidy and ensure the contents of the room are not damaged due to carelessness.
If you are a backpacker then this accommodation is not for you!
As I have a dog I would ask that you are pet friendly. I don't expect you to play with the Oscar but please be respectful of him. Patting him is a bonus!
I don't mind what time you come home but please be as quiet as possible so as not to wake me!
Open minded but please no outside visitors.
Smoking is permitted on the balcony.
I generally do not accept check in's later than 8.30pm. If you know you will be arriving later than this time please advise prior to booking.
It is important for me to keep a great relationship with my neighbours and other owners within the apartment building. I kindly ask for you to adhere to the following;
Please be mindful of neighbours at all times and speak quietly when in the common areas late at night.
There is a strict 'no glass' policy around the swimming pool area, please adhere to this rule and all other rules clearly defined in the outdoor entertainment area.
When entering and exiting the building be mindful that you are a guest of the building and be courteous and friendly to those you meet.
From Dec 27, 2015 - Jan 02, 2016 the minimum stay is 5 nights.
