Extra spacious

Guests love this home’s spaciousness for a comfortable stay.
Custom built home on 11 acres at the base of Sugarloaf Mountain. Floor to ceiling glass give this home an indoor outdoor feeling. Twenty two foot vaulted ceiling in the great room with an open kitchen plan. Two wood burning fireplaces. Steam room spa with deep Hydro Massage tub for two. Outdoor upper deck, flagstone patios. Hardwood floors with radiant floor heat. Custom furniture and cabinetry. Property leads directly to many hiking and biking trails. Views of Boulder to Continental Divide.

The space
Custom home on an 11 acre natural setting. Wildlife everywhere. Foxes, deer, elk, moose, occasional mountain lions and bears. This house has many floor to ceiling glass walls. This is why I call it my “Reverse Zoo”. A “Reverse Zoo” is where the animals look through the glass at the human exhibit.

Guest access
Entire home all to yourself. Outdoor RV parking available. Free parking available on the premises. Upper deck, 3 outdoor flagstone patios. You own private hideaway.

Other things to note
The weather can move through very quickly at 7650 feet altitude in the Rockies. It can be stormy one minute, and sunny next. At times, the wind can be quite strong moving through weather fronts. At other times no wind at all. Watching weather coming over the Continental Divide is amazing. Sometimes you really are literally living in the clouds. Please be conscious of the fact that we are visitors in this forest and please treat all wildlife with the respect it deserves.

Neighborhood highlights

My road is privately owned and maintained. We are located in the Roosevelt National Forest. Most lots are 10- 35 acres. Only residents can use the road in cars. Bicycles and hikers do use the road as it is a cut through to the Switzerland Trail. Great neighbors. Most have lived here over 35 years.
