It was a nice experience to stay at Helga's place in Innsbruck. Innsbruck is a lovely mountain town and Helga was such a pleasant host! One of the best experiences I had travelling with Airbnb so far! Helga shared her knowledge of travelling to various countries such as Singapore, Bali and Cuba. We had good conversation over breakfast.
She is a lovely host and I recommend her to anyone coming to Innsbrck. Also her apartment is located in a nice, quiet residential area with a stunning view of the mountains and just 15 min. by bus from the city centre.
The photos posted do not reflect how wonderful the apartment actually is to us. It is well structured, well arranged and nicely decorated. Everything is clean. It has wonderful views over the Innsbruck city from the balcony and picturesque landscape from the terrace located next to the sleeping room. Traveling around the city was also very convenient. Ones could walk (15mins) or take bus (5mins) to the old town.
Our stay was even more memorable with such a warm welcome by Helga. She made hot tea when we arrived and two lovely breakfasts. We even got lucky when having a chance for a dinner with her. And we enjoyed every single minute of talking and very impressed with her wide knowledge for politics, economics, traveling, religions, etc. aside from architecture and art, which are her specialization, of course. She has been by far the best host to us.
I strongly recommend Helga's place if any body is still wondering where to stay in Innsbruck.
I very much enjoyed my stay at Helga's place. The room and the bathroom were very comfortable and and the view from the terrace (towards the Nordkette) is really breathtaking. I particularly relished our conversations over breakfast. Helga was an excellent host.
Helga was an amazing host! I have stayed at several airbnb while traveling and I must say this was by far the best experience I have had. Helga was a great host! She made us feel very welcome and even got up to make us breakfast in the morning. She was very accoomodating and her apartment was fantastic! It was close to the center and looked right over the mountains. It was stunning. I would love to go back and stay with Helga again! An overall wonderful experience.
Helga was a good host, the apartment was exactly as in the pictures and it is well located too. We enjoy our days in Innsbruck.
My weekend at Helga's was absolutely amazing. Her home is so perfectly located and was close enough to the city center that you can walk but far enough away that you can enjoy the peace and quiet. Helga is such a lovely woman and was so accommodating in every aspect from making breakfast to assisting with directions and taking it upon herself to call places to liaise in the German language. All the reviews before me say it and I will say it again, I absolutely recommend Helga's if you ever are fortunate enough to visit Innsbruck!
Innsbruck is a lovely city and Helga has a lovely place that was both quiet and comfortable. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you stay up later than ten just because Helga goes to bed early. It was a bit hard to skype my family back home because of the earlier hours. I also didn't get breakfast one day because she left early in the morning. Other than that I had a fine stay. Helga is a kind person, she even invited me to join on a car ride across the border to Italy, that was great!
