  • I had a wonderful time in Queenstown and staying at Philip's place made it very special. The view is really stunning, the appartment is very nice, the bed was so cozy. Philip is a great host. Staying with him is very uncomplicated, like staying at a friend's place. He has a lot of information about the area and a lot of good tipps how to spend the time. I wish I could have stayed longer!

  • Positive first experience of AirBnB. Small but comfortable room with good shared bathroom (no one else staying so we actually got it all to ourselves!). Hot tub on and bubbling all day and night so easy to take a dip at any time. Astounding views too, a real highlight of the property! 'Fish' had a few days off so was around throughout our stay for advice, too. Dog was well behaved, no issues even for those not keen on dogs. 5 minute drive to Queenstown. Overall a good stay.

  • Clean room with an amazing view. Fish is a helpful host always ready to offer advice and provides a good breakfast to start your day.

  • Best accommodation we could have asked for. We didn't have a car but the bus was not far away, the views were worth it. Philip (Fish)'s knowledge of the area was astounding. He even called up a friend and drove us to the bus pick up in town when we decided last minute to go on a tour. Would definitely stay here again.

  • Fish and Cooga (the dog) were fantastic hosts. Fish's house is a short distance from the town which was perfect, and the house had everything we needed including awesome views and a hot tub. Fish was beyond helpful when we were planning what activities to do in Queenstown as well as the rest of our trip. Huge help.
He was very friendly, funny, and instantly made us feel at home. Cooga was also a delight! He loved getting pets and playing fetch. :) would highly recommend staying here, as we hope to again in the future. Thanks Fish!!

  • Philip is a very outgoing guy and a great storyteller. With his experience as a tour guide, he's seen a lot of the world and it was fun to share experiences. He also has great knowledge of the area and can help make recommendations.

The house itself is located on a hill with a breathtaking view - sitting in the hot tub looking out over the lake was one of our favorite things. We had a great stay here, and hope to see Queenstown again!

  • Philip (aka Fish) was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The house is in a fantastic location and the view is simply breathtaking. The room and bed were both very comfortable. The local restaurant VKnow was the cherry on top! Put all these together and it makes for an amazing place to call home while visiting Queenstown. Would easily recommend to any friends visiting.

  • Our experience was very positive. Philip was a nice and kind host and gave valuable advices and tips concerning sights and beautiful roads and tracks in Queenstown and environment.

Philip's house is on a high hill some kilometers from downtown and it is absolutely necessary to have a car during the visit. There is always peaceful in the vicinity of the house. The view over the lake and mountains is really wonderful!

  • We had a fantastic stay with Philip. The room was great and the view was to die for. The place was clean and well-kept, everything was as described, if not better. Philip was great - really helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the area, his dog Cooga is adorable as well. Philip is also an experienced airbnb host and it shows, all directions and descriptions were really clear. Would definitely highly recommend staying here!!
