Lake Front Suite on Cowichan Lake

House - Private room · Creekside Drive, Youbou, BC V0R 3E1, Canada

The Space

Come and enjoy our beautiful new suite in a lake front house on Cowichan Lake. It is a one bedroon with full kitchen and your own laundry. You can enjoy your own private outdoor eating area or eat inside. The dock is shared with our family, but is very large. There are kayaks and a canoe on the beach for your use; golf near by and lots of hiking. Cowichan Lake is a beautiful, pristine 39 km long lake. Swim, fish or just relax and enjoy the day. The beach and dock face south and get full sun all day. It is currently only avaiable Sept 15th to April 31st on preferably a monthly basis but would consider a weekly rental.

We are considered the Gateway to the West Coast Trail, famous Carmanah Valley and the rich & wild Pacific Ocean Coastal beaches. We are also the western terminus of the Trans Canada Trail where you can ride or hike and enjoy Skutz Falls or the Kinsol Trestle

We are non-smoking and family oriented-oriented household.

Our lake communities offer many activities and services: Golfing; tubing, river kayaking & fly fishing on the Cowichan River; boating, water skiing, swimming or fishing on Cowichan Lake; delicious food in great little restaurants; hiking, cycling or horseback riding on the Trans Canada Trail; finding all things hand-made or hand-crafted at the charming, rustic Honeymoon Bay Market.

We are situated in Youbou "the sunny side of the lake". Lake Cowichan, the largest community around the lake, has a Royal Bank and Island Savings Credit Union, both with ATMs, a large grocery store: "Country Grocer", a bakery, 2 drugstores, a hardware store: "Home Hardware", 2 gas stations, and several specialty stores.
