Reggio’s principal attraction is "Bronzi di Riace", two ancient Greek bronzes of nude bearded warriors, cast about 460–450 BC.
Writer Gabriele D’Annunzio once said in regards to Reggio’s waterfront that it was “the most beautiful kilometre of Italy”.
On the beach during the summer, tourists and local people alike can enjoy the sand and the sun, and at night the parties.
Sometime during sunrise, you can experience the optical phenomenon “Fata Morgana”, where the strait between Reggio and Sicily seems narrow enough to walk across.
Within walking distance of the apart is also Castello Aragonese, an ancient castle built as fortification by the Chalcis.
Reggio also provides transport links to many other holiday destinations, such as Scilla or Pentedattilo, where you can spend the day enjoying the versatility of Italy’s landscape.
