This was a great place to stay. A cozy cabin experience within close driving distance to downtown Carrboro. Would stay here again!

Margaret was exceptionally communicative and accommodating with our last-minute booking request. The tree house was lovely and very comfortable. We really appreciated the extra touches like granola and milk (essential oils too!). A quiet, very nice retreat. I definitely recommend as an escape if you happen to have a loved one in the nearby hospital like we did. It was super convenient to UNC and a much-needed respite from the days' stress.

This is a beautiful home in a beautiful neighborhood. Trees surround the home and give a feeling of privacy and nature. The great room is very spacious, coffee was great, shower very nice. One caution - the steps are a little steep, so someone with knee problems or balance issues might do better with a different home. For those who are without mobility problems - it is worth it!

This is a fabulous place to stay. Cozy and warm, yet spacious. Private, yet with a friendly, attentive hostess nearby. Spectacularly appointed and nicely equipped for a restful retreat among the treetops. Also, comes with a libray stocked with intriguing books you will want to explore.

A quiet retreat just minutes from campus and town, the Tree House was perfect for our weekend visit to "Blue Heaven." Nicely appointed garage apartment that was spacious, clean and private. Margaret was the perfect host, providing all the little touches that made our stay memorable. At the top of our list of "homes away from home."

Margaret's place is ideal when visiting UNC. It is conveniently located very close to campus but still quiet and relaxing. Margaret was very thoughtful to every detail we may require. She is also excellent with her communication. We would stay here again!

All around 10/10, would recommend! The room was perfect with ample space, comfortable sleeping, and quaint, homey decorations. What really impressed us, though is Margaret's attention to detail when it comes to hosting. She left kind notes and texts along with special treats waiting for our arrival!

Margaret User ProfileMargaret is a superhost.

My husband, Ed, and I have lived in Chapel Hill since 1985. Ed designed and built our lovely home in '91-'92, and we hope you will enjoy it as much as we have. Ed works at the UNC Medical Center as a pediatric orthopaedist, and I spend my work time these days writing. We have always loved to share our home with friends and family, and we love to travel, so finding out about airbnb and listing our available space seemed a logical extension of what we'd love to share. We hope you enjoy your time here, whether you stay with us, or in any of the other special places available to you in this "Southern Part Of Heaven."
