The space
The cabin has beautiful ambiance with the natural golden glow of knotty pine top to bottom, decorated in the mountain motif with well appointed alpine accents throughout, lending warmth and comfort for your stay. The master bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, laundry/mudroom are on the lower level, with the second bedroom (equipped with TV/DVR/DVD) being upstairs. You’ll enjoy spectacular lake and mountain views from various perspectives, from inside as well as outside. Embrace all the wonderful natural elements of being outdoors in the mountains while taking in the fresh, crisp mountain air from the large lake/mountain view front deck, large back patio area with private spa housed in open-air gazebo with bar and barstools (you’ll enjoy the unobstructed lake view & sunsets from inside the spa!), BBQ, picnic table with umbrella (all with lake/mountain views), surrounded by gigantic mature pine trees and huge boulders, a gorgeous landscape that is truly unique to the exclusive area of Boulder Bay of Big Bear Lake. The best in sledding and hiking without ever leaving home! Note: A security camera is located at upper northeast corner of cabin, facing street.

The setting of Bearfootin’ Cabin is most-desirable as compared to all of Big Bear. You have the uniqueness of the Boulder Bay landscape that is a combination of water, pines, boulders and mountains, nestled within walking distance between 2 of the most-renowned sites in the entire Big Bear Valley, being Boulder Bay Park (beautiful waterscape with huge boulders ascending out of the water, walkout fishing pier, kayak rentals/launch area, walking path, picnic tables, covered pavilion, public facilities, and more), and Castlerock Trail…a Big Bear favorite! You’ll know why it’s called “Castlerock” when you reach the top!Don’t miss these great water/Mountain View photo -ops!

The cabin is located in an exceptionally lovely area, being 1 of only 8 beautiful properties on our charming horseshoe of a mountain road that runs parallel to the shoreline of Big Bear Lake. For those unfamiliar with our valley, you’ll enjoy the peace of mind of knowing you’re lodging in the safest area in town. The festive Bavarian-style Village of Big Bear (restaurants, pubs, coffee klatches, galleries, boutiques, antiques, chocolate, ice cream, souvenirs & home to the Christmas Parade and tree lighting celebration as Santa and Mrs. Clause are welcomed back every year right after Thanksgiving) is a 4 to 5 minute drive from the cabin, Alpine Slide (snow tubing/sledding by winter, mine shaft ride in warmer months) is 3 to 4 minutes drive and Pleasure Point Marina (boat rentals of all sorts) is a 1-minute drive from cabin. Both the Vons & Stater Brothers supermarkets are located 5 miles east from the cabin.
