Welcome to Tisaion House, a soulful retreat located in Lafkos, one of the most picturesque villages in Pelion. Boasting fantastic views located right on the edge of nature, the house is just a short step from the square, where you embrace the Greek way of life. Whether you are on holiday or working remotely, you will find all the comfort you need. You will only hear birdsong, and there are some great beaches and hiking trails nearby. The space
The holiday home is settled 330m above the sea, overlooking an old spring and borders directly on the green valley below the hill. Opposite you can see the small Byzantine chapel Ag. Paraskevi and the whole mountains of the southern peninsula. Just 2 minutes far away runs the picturesque village center with a view shops, supermarket, pharmacy a stone oven bakery, several delicious taverns and the oldest coffee shop in Greece.
In detail, our place is made to share with passionate and attentive people. It consists of an open kitchen, equipped with anything you love in your own home. As a part of the concept, we offer a plenty of crockery, all the necessary cooking utensils, a Neff hob, Siemens oven, Miele dishwasher, smoothie maker, etc. and a dining table with 6 seats. Many basic foods, drinks or herbs are available in the flat. The highlight is the fireplace on the first floor, offering in wintertime romantic and cozy relaxation. Also, a small workspace is available, a very comfortable sleeping couch for two guests more, and a single bed for another person too.
Upstairs you expect two lovingly designed bedrooms, with an exceptional view of the green valleys, the hills and the picturesque village. The bigger sleeping room include 2 wooden beds, which can be individually arranged as single or king-size, and additional space for a baby crib or mattress too. The second room offers 2 wooden beds, just flexible as single or double concept. Booths rooms have wooden parquet floor and a large balcony with a fantastic panorama.
The beautiful wooden cabinets provide enough storage capacity to arrange your things like at home. Wooden shutters in any room ensure that even light-sensitive people have no problems getting to sleep. The apartment can be completely darkened.
For shower and beauty, we have a modern main bathroom in the second floor, and a guest-toilette in the first floor. Additionally, we have an extraordinary outdoor-shower, useable almost the whole year.
One more highlight is the huge garden with 850 square meters and its own well. Shadow and hospitality provides a pergola, with an impressing natural stone table in the center. Spread over several places, we offer a plenty of furniture for sitting and relaxing, like a hammock and a hanging chair. A powerful gas grill and the outdoor kitchen invites you to celebrate delicious barbecues.
The cottage is built in the style of traditional Pelion mansions from solid concrete and steel and is now fresh renovated and modernly equipped, combining the rural charm of country style with a touch of modern architecture. Carefully integrated is modern technology such as solar thermal, Hue lighting or the latest Daikin air conditioning system. Of course we offer LAN & Wi-Fi. In addition, everything except the outer skin is core refurbished. We installed new plumbing and electrical, replaced the rough plaster and have lovingly renovated the fireplace and floor.
The house offers 120 square metres of total living space, allowing you to spread out as you wish. We typically rent to four to five people, but we can accommodate more in exceptional cases (e.g. families or small hiking groups).
If you are interested in using our privately insured vehicles, they are available for a usage fee by agreement. The vehicles are technically in perfect condition and clean, but a little bit older. A few scratches or a small dent are acceptable and do not need to be repaired. We have: Toyota Yaris Verso (from Volos or Thessaloniki), Honda CX500, 5 bikes and Compass 400 GT with 30hp.

Guests have free access to all areas of the property. However, we ask you to be careful with the well and the walls, especially if small children are present.

The cottage has everything you need for a family holiday on the beach, for hiking or for staying longer. Upon arrival, you will find towels and made-up beds. We provide everything you need for fun and relaxation, including games, swimming equipment, yoga mats and various forms of transport. For full details, visit the Tisaion House website.
Please note that a visitor's tax is to be paid in addition to the rental price. From April to October, this is a flat rate of 15 euros per day, and from November to March, 4 euros. It applies to the entire house, regardless of the number of people. The Greek state uses it to combat the problems caused by climate change, such as fires and floods.
Pets cost €8 per day.
The use of bicycles, cars, motorbikes and boats is available by arrangement, but there will be a small charge.
Driving directly to the house needs attention: The last 200 metres require the driver to be skilled and dexterous, as the road is narrow at the beginning. If you are driving a large car, you must drive slowly and carefully for a few metres. We strongly advise parking directly at the house only for loading or unloading and using the nearby car parks in the meantime.
