The space
The apartment is located on the first floor of an historic 1892 townhouse. The building was designed by Alexander Selkirk, one of Albany's most noteworthy architects. The apartment is newly renovated, featuring an elegant mix of vintage and new furniture with original artwork. The grand Oak Room is the heart of the apartment with lots of space to lounge, dine and enjoy the historic ambience of the gilded age. Right off the main living space is the original butler's pantry, now a stylish and spacious kitchen. The cute bathroom features an extra large shower with glass doors. Enjoy the vintage fireplace mantel and large bay window in the master bedroom. The second bedroom features beautiful oak paneling and a courtyard view.
Located in a quiet corner of Center Square, between two historic churches, the Mansion Suite is steps from the New York State Capitol and Empire State Plaza. You'll find many interesting restaurants and bars a few blocks away on Lark Street. Be sure to check out Dove a Deer for cocktails/appetizers and Rosanna's Italian Restaurant, both one block from the apartment. Many more restaurants and bars are located nearby on Lark Street.
