What more could you ask for? An adorable, newly renovated one bedroom flat in the bustling, trendy Darlinghurst - close to the all that Sydney has to offer.
Caters for all guests and their interests with a short stroll to Circular Quay, the Botanic Gardens, Kings Cross and Potts Point, Victoria St with an array of restaurants and one particularly nice gelato shop, Central/Town Hall train stations, China Town and Oxford St - where a bus can get you to the Eastern Beaches quick smart.
The apartment itself is a newly renovated 1920s style space, with all original features and high ceilings – making it extra spacious and full of character.
Enjoy 50" flat screen tele, new modula couch, tea and coffee, towels, hairdryer, shampoo/conditioner - just some of the little
The kitchen is open plan and fully equipped with dishwasher, gas stove, soda stream, microwave and designer pots and pans. Great if you feel like a relaxing night in – but why would you with the array of eateries and bars on your doorstep.
The bedroom has huge built ins, comfy queen bed and electric piano - this opens into the modern bathroom/ensuite which again is fully renovated with no shower screen, meaning a lot more space to enjoy. The communal rooftop is brilliant with views (glimpses) of all the iconic Sydney structures – feel free to enjoy breakfast or a drink overlooking the city as the sun sets.
Unfortunately no car space is available but there really is no need for one given the location.
Typically available for weekends.
Due to size of the apartment and the proximity to neighbours we can only allow a maximum of two guests to stay. No parties please.
The rooftop is not accessible after 10pm and fines are issued by the building manager at guest's expense.
Basically just treat the place as if it were your own.
If we are not available to hand over the key, it will be placed in the letterbox which is located inside a locked foyer. The building is very busy but you will often have to wait until somebody enters/exits to receive the key. If you arrive late this may be an issue. Please enquire about alternative options.
Bridie's apartment was a dream. Great location and walking distance to the parks and harbour. The apartment was exactly like the photos, light and airy, very clean and was a perfect size for two of us. Bridie was great with communication, providing tips for good food and bars in the area and even provided us with beach towels and walking map guides for the different areas of Sydney. We had a fantastic time staying here and I would highly recommend it !
Bridie was a great host. Very accommodating and her apartment was amazing!
Perfectly quaint with everything you need.
The apartment was in a fantastic location just outside of Sydney CBD and across from Hyde park. Walk everywhere or get a bus or train to the destinations out of reach.
Great for a weekend away in Sydney when you want to feel at home and have the luxury of a kitchen to beat paying all those steep CBD prices.
Great place to stay. The best parts of Sydney like the city, Surry Hills and the Cross are within walking distance. The apartment was neat and clean and the hosts were great.
Very convenient. Even though Bridie accepted us at short notice into their home, the place was neat and tidy, had everything we needed, and we were very comfortable. 5 out of 5 for value for money.
Excellent central Sydney location. Clean. Today. Homely. Great communication from Bridie. Recommended.
The apartment was the perfect base for exploring the CBD and Surry Hills from. Bridie provided us with area guides along with her personal recommendations, ensuring that we were never clueless about where to go. Thank you for providing us with a comfortable stay!
This is the perfect location in Sydney. Close to everything - cafe's, bars, shopping, restaurants plus public transport. The apartment was really clean, stylish and comfortable. Birdie was extremely accommodating and helpful with recommendations on things to do. Highly recommend her place, it's wonderful
